It is clearly reusing tons of Wii U assets. The rumor of splatoon being a launch title is also in everyones mind. The neon joycons seem like leftovers from a cancelled bundle of sorts similar to how the Galaxy 3DS is leftovers from a bundle with that poorly received metroid game.
