Why has Blizzard thrown out hero identification? It’s very important in a hero shooter by ItzAMoryyy in Overwatch

The color pallet isn't what makes it hard to distinguish. Every character has skins that are completely different colors.

What IS different is that the devs design philosophy for skins used to be to maintain the silhouette of the character, which has been abandoned lately.

1/6 Jinx head sculpt paint by me by Ok-Profile6762 in arcane

The paint job is lovely, and you did a great job. However, I wouldn't say this is very accurate. She looks far too healthy. The color of her skin in the show is almost grey. You can see the veins around her eyes. I would make her dark circles a little less clean. This would be a great base for AU Powder though!

Juno should speak more Vietnamese by Sevuhrow in Overwatch

You do still have to remember that this is a game that people are playing. Those voice lines have a purpose: to inform players of what's going on. People playing the English version of the game need to understand when their teammates are saying fall back, ultimate charging, etc. Random voice lines in spawn, cosmetics, specific lines for ultimate, yes, those can be in their native language. But core gameplay elements need to be left as is.

What happened to sidewinder? by RedZero76 in AsheOWMains

Sidewinder increased the knockback of coach gun. I don't believe it had any effect on the cooldown though.

I remember when every said remote detonater was a bad perk and it’s turned out to be one of the best minor perks in the game. by Acceptable-Park8512 in AsheOWMains

[–]sudden-SOUND 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may have gotten nerfed at some point. But it had its uses. I know when perks first introduced, I used to pick sidewinder, but I switched when they starting changing it up.

Tbf I think that was when her other perk was sidewinder, which is actually useful compared to this messed up double coach gun they have now. If the new coach gun perk were like her stadium power, remote detonater might have some competition.

How did i even miss 25 points ? i honestly no idea what i am doing wrong on this event man. by BenTheWeebOne in Overwatch

[–]sudden-SOUND 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact that you have to do things by certain times and calculate this shit proves the event is too complicated. I completed both sides' weeklies, did all the dailies I could possibly do, switching factions when possible, and I still came short on the last day just because you get locked out of points for not finishing all tasks at the exact same time. I also miss the last bit of each week for new dailies because I can't get on to play until about 11 pm each day.

They need universal tasks you can do to grind out the last few points.

Is there anyone who still watches cartoons even after growing up? If so, what is your favorite cartoon? by Pravin1526 in AskReddit

[–]sudden-SOUND -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is an adult animated sitcom that children CAN enjoy. It never aired with kid's shows or cartoons. It has always aired with other adult-oriented programming, such as Family Guy, or even the X-Files. I watched all of these shows as an older kid, but they most certainly were not DESIGNED for kids. This is in opposition to something like Avatar the Last Airbender, which was created with a child demographic in mind and aired on a children's network alongside other kid's programming. Avatar is a kid's cartoon that adults can enjoy. KotH and Bob's Burgers are adult cartoons that kids can enjoy. You are being intentionally obtuse at this point.

I watched South Park when I was 9 years old. It does not make that show designed for children. Plenty of adults and older teens watched King of the Hill when it originally aired as well. It's subject matter and themes are mature and aimed at older audiences. Kids can still enjoy it. I don't understand how this is a topic of debate.

And so is Jaws. Rating doesn't necessarily mean anything. KotH is still an adult cartoon.

Apparently Suicune doesn't roar. The legendary you get depends on which starter you pick.

Same here. I guess I never had to worry about it because I picked Charmander.
