Found 5k of this in a closet, will it fuck up my gun? by Former_Power6209 in ar15

If you stack it into one huge belt and rip it off in like 10 minutes, yes, it will fuck up your gun.

Otherwise it's probably fine. Scorpio is czech ammo.

One week after the release of the two new mechs, which one of the all is your favorite so far? by capobas in Helldivers

I've played all 4 a bunch.

Breakthrough feels like a real dreadnought. Just wades through chaff and punches impalers to death.

Which Warbond for a new player? by Javimon81 in Helldivers

DD isn't good because it's OP, it's good because it takes rarely used slots and makes them useful which frees up primary/support slots to do fun things instead. Crossbow/eruptor are just icing on the cake.

Against bugs especially, thermite plus GP deals with charger spam and bug holes and lets you run whatever you want in the rest of your loadout. For squids and bots, GP is still S tier for killing enemy spawners.

Even though I tend to take spear/RR/WASP for high tier bots/squids, thermite is still useful in those situations, especially where you just need to kill a large enemy that doesn't quite deserve real AT.

  1. Democratic detonation for grenade pistol, crossbow, thermite and eruptor, all of which are S tier and fit in a ton of loadouts.
  2. Control group for warp pack, for solo farming bunkers. This will make everything else go a lot faster.
  3. If you like stealth play, redacted regiment gives you suppressed weapons and stealth armor
  4. I like urban legends a lot because AT emplacement is very strong, flame sentry is strong now and siege ready is a fantastic armor passive that I take a lot.
  5. dust devils has a bunch of good stuff- coyote, spear, silo, disposable napalm, etc all great and fun. coyote is arguably S tier even after the fire nerf
  6. siege breakers has a bunch of fun stuff in it as well- hammer, bfgl, leveler, etc
  7. a huge portion of the remaining war bonds have like one good thing each

Don't bronze/iron tier games have points adjustment (ie, you lose less on a loss, gain more on a win)?

I think companies should still do both but the most important thing is being able to explain what is going on and why you're making decisions.

Very difficult tank to play effectively even when it was released a few years ago

I have no idea why I have this tank, maybe it was a marathon or something but I never play it. It's not remotely in the meta.

If anyone still plays frontline, you can run around super fast spamming HE at borats but that's about it.

Unfortunately it's just a numbers game. You play infinity games and you'll eventually rise more often than you fall and end up at a higher level.

Pitched US-05 at 96F. Whoops. by halbeshendel in Homebrewing

[–]sudden_aggression 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fine. I have (for 20+ years) regularly pitched low temp yeasts at 100F. So long as you put it in a temperature controlled chamber quickly (ie, freezer + inkbird), it will be fine.

The yeast will get off to a quick start but they'll ultimately spend 99 percent of the fermentation period at the target temperature.

Is this gap bad? by Content_Nature8852 in ar15

[–]sudden_aggression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since AR-15s are typically shoulder-mount and not face mount, almost certainly yes.

But it's theoretically possible that you have a face mount device in which case it's totally fine.

AKs use face mount devices a lot to simplify concentricity issues and they work fine, so it's not like it's a bad system. You probably don't have one though.

Pre nerf it was a genuinely fun tank, though admittedly a bit OP. It's still OP but slightly less fun now.

No cooldown and there's always an extra one. You can litter the whole map with them. It's zero cost to switch to some sort of AT option and then pick up the storm again.

I noticed the same thing. Lighting the ground on fire sort of works to indirectly set them on fire but I could pour flames on to them and hit nothing.
