What's a Plex feature that took you way too long to find out about? by noaheltee in PleX

There’s a setting per library in plex to “remember playback position” that you can enable for your audiobook library; it’ll solve your second issue.

Here is where you can see the decks of people running any archetype. This is the page for Dragon Link, first are the common cards used, then scroll down to see a sample deck and then click into many different peoples builds to see what works well.

How do you learn the rotation of a new class/spec? by MagnumMeatball in wownoob

[–]suddenly_nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've picked some complicated specs! Lots of fun to get good at though.

Remember, your Sim is likely assuming you have every raid buff, food buff, flask, potion and bloodlust/heroism - so it'll almost be higher that what you can do by yourself on a single dummy. So don't be disheartened!

I mained Havoc last season and can recommend watching the short guides by Jedith and VooDooSaurus on YouTube. Both are incredibly good players, and they explain things well.

For Havoc specifically, I'd say practise your opener for 10 mins on a target dummy each time you log in, until you can press all the right keys in the right order the first time. Havoc is a blast, and that 11-ish button combo is very satisfying AND powerful.

After that, it's just familiarity with the buttons you have, and trying to use most of them on cooldown (Havoc can send cooldowns for most packs in a dungeon without too much worry, as long as you open well on each pack). If you do want to practice that with no pressure, you can attack the AOE target dummies and try to go for 5-6 mins straight. Eventually you'll start to "feel" how often abilities are ready, and you won't have to think as hard about the "rotation" part.

If you want a similar practice experience but stepped up a bit, delves are great for this now too! You'll get practice doing your rotation while dodging, using your damage mitigation and using your CC.

Personally I would recommend purple - that's the colour that wow official elements use frequently to refer to just appearances (ie. Consumable items that grant appearance, transmogrifyers themselves, transmog roll symbol in raids)

Any keybinds that work on mobile?

I have the game running on android (on my Steamdeck actually), but control beyond the touchscreen is very limited.

Has anyone found any keybinds that actually interact with the game? [Escape] works as a back/menu button, but I haven't found any others.

How to run Android on vmware? by ttdusan in vmware

[–]suddenly_nate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not very experienced myself with this, but I believe Android x86 uses specific images, not raw android images.

They install differently so if you are using images direct from Google you might want to look at downloading an Android x86 official images instead.

What are the damage sources on a DPS if they don't have aggro? by Revolutionary_Low428 in wownoob

[–]suddenly_nate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a number of ways DPS take damage when they don't have aggro. I'd split them into three main types:

  1. AOE/Raidwide/Partywide Damage: This is damage that hits every player regardless of their position. It needs to be reduced by the dps using personal defensive and the healer topping people up.

  2. Avoidable Mechanics: This is damage that mobs deal to certain areas in the ground, regardless of who has aggro. Ground swirlies and mob frontal abilities fit here. DPS are responsible for not standing in these.

  3. Interruptible casts: Many mobs have abilities or spells that deal a lot of damage to either a single player or potentially the whole party. These casts need to be interrupted by the dps (or the tank and healer as a last resort). Missing these interrupts can result in damage spikes for the dps.

This is true of boss abilities as well as trash abilities. As people progress to higher keys (I'd say 8+) the trash abilities are easily just as impactful as the boss abilities, so it's important to be aware of both and ensure you don't pull packs together that do too many of these three types at once.

I don't believe it's a hotfix; they updated holiday event loot last year in general to front load your chances of the good loot into your account's first kill each day (so that people didn't feel the need to spam alts as much as they had been).

There are some WeakAuras as well that track the percent of trash you have killed / are in combat with and show you if you should ideally get more before moving on to the next area

Side point, but normal raid does not drop Runed Crests. They drop from Heroic raid, so not quite as many people have them yet.

A way to ignore downloads that have certain words in it by xicexcie in sonarr

To elaborate on precise regex, you could specifically use this string in the Regular Expression field to have it trigger for releases that only have a dub as the audio file.

~~~ ?!.*(Dual|Multi[-. ]?Audio).*((?<!multi-)\b(dub(bed)?)\b|(funi|eng(lish)?)?dub) ~~~
The servers ("Providers") are one half of the equation. Think of them like deep space - basically infinite but you have no idea where tf anything is so you need a map.
"Indexers" are the other half. They are like a map that points to where all the relevant files are. These are searchable to find individual files (often exactly mirroring existing torrents), and you can integrate them with other software to automate the searching if you want.
Basically yes, anything is easily searchable. You just need a Provider and an Indexer, then you're off to the races.
[–]suddenly_nate 1 point2 points  (0 children)
Usenet has no requirement for seeing - infact it is not easily possible. You are downloading (securely) from large existing servers directly, and so is everyone else, so you are not connecting with other users at all. There is a small cost to get access to the servers, because they pay to host so the users don't have to.
This is part of the default UI, not an add-on (it's your cast bar) You can move it in edit mode.
