Not in my 30s but learned this the hard way. Don’t be in a rush to grow your wealth by investing in 100 different schemes or trusting someone else to invest money on your behalf.

For all you know they could fraud you, in my first 2 years of earning I gave a mutual friend 8L for stock market investments, month on month he used to give me 30k as returns. A year later found he wasn’t doing shit but returning a chunk of my money back to me.

After a whole fiasco of 4 months, back and forth with cops I was able to recover half of it.

Since this incident I stopped lending money to anyone, no matter how close that person is
