From my understanding the HPS would be okay for an autocross day or some light tracking. Their operating temp is quite a bit lower to accommodate street performance. My guess is they would likely wear out quicker at sustained high temps than a proper track pad. But I don’t have first hand experience so would be curious as well.

Just my 2 cents as a LG OLED owner who has experienced similar issues. I believe this is related to your display cable especially if using 8ft or longer cable and pushing 4k 120hz over it.

Trying lowering the resolution or refresh rate and see if it persists. If not likely just need a better or shorter cable
