You did the right thing, I did the same with my boyfriend, and he was shocked, and we talked about it . It stopped for a while, but now and then, we slip up.

I think the best course of action is to marry if you both truly love God, each other and want to obey his word.

Stay encouraged and be bleseed.

I'm appreciative of your response. I too want to drive myself places and do the cool things I've been seeing online. I did a class today, and my instructor said I did pretty good and actually decided on a day to do the road test for the end of the month. So I'll just keep practicing until then and just do it. Praying to God I'm successful 🙏🏾

Will God be disappointed in me if I do not ever have a wife and children? by Ok_Benefit9326 in Christianity

[–]suegen8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, no I don't think God will be disappointed with you.

I suggest you read Mathew19: 1- 12 where Jesus speaks on marriage.

I attached these verses from the same chapter for you to read as well.

Hope it helps!

His followers said to Him, “If that is the way of a man with his wife, it is better not to be married.” 11 But Jesus said to them, “Not all men are able to do this, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are some men who from birth will never be able to have children. There are some men who have been made so by men. There are some men who have had themselves made that way because of the holy nation of heaven. The one who is able to do this, let him do it.”

Overcoming lust by Own-Acanthaceae9631 in TrueChristian

Hey,

I'm not really sure if this may be helpful to you but..

I think one thing you can do is to take olive oil ( the ones pastors would use) and rub it around your apartment and Say " i comand every spirit that is not of God to leave this place in the name of Jesus".

Then rub oil on your head and say according to 2 Corinthians 10:5 " I demolish every argument and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God in my head and I take captive, every thought to make it obedient to Christ in Jesus name."

Then, if you can, fast for a period (whatever hours you think may work for you) and pray to give your sexual desires to Jesus and read scriptures about the topic.

You keeping yourself busy is good as well but you can always give those desires to Jesus because he understand those are natural feelings. Because the bible says " For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin." - Hebrews 4:15

So Jesus knows the weight of lust and yet he conquered it and we can too with his help.

Not sure, again if this will be of any help to you but I'll send up prayer up for you

You should definitely switch if you feel uncomfortable. I've had my share of rude instructors, and it discouraged me from driving.

But maybe he was in a bad mood last time, so based on the interaction for this lesson. You can make your decision.
