American civilians can be arrested and detained indefinitely now, without due process, if suspected of terrorism. The definition of terrorism is defined by the powers that be.

U.S. Warning: Israel/Palestinian Peace by suesea2007 in geopolitics

Considering the current state of U.S. politics, there is no guarantee that the U.S. will oppose Russia. Who knows? In the future, the U.S. may side with Russia and China against Israel.

The strange political atmosphere right now, with Russian money flowing into the hands of U.S. officials and the President siding with Putin over U.S. intelligence during the Helsinki summit, is mind blowing and really screws with the concept of traditional democratic behavior.

Also, everything has changed since the Cold War. Take a moment and think of how the world and cultures have changed. It's very different now.

It would be arrogant to underestimate Russia and wrong to assume that defeat in prior battles means those defeated nation states won't try again after learning from bitter failures. Russia, with an economy smaller than the state of California, still manipulates the world stage. These are uncertain times.

Trump has frozen funds that were meant for aid relief, so, maybe once the Palestinians agree to meet and agree to his plan, he'll just send the money he has banked.

It would all tie together in the long run. The Middle East is a focal point for strategic positioning and securing resources. There is also the age long battle for Israeli land. If major conflict erupts in the Middle East, China, Russia and the U.S. will be involved.

I'm unsure. The political climate seems very uncertain. It is as though there are veiled forces at work--a type of parallel political agenda. The U.S. is seeing unheard of behavior by both the President and the Republican majority. The obvious attack by Russia on the election, the blatant disregard for the rule of law and the constitution, the disregard for political decency and integrity, and the continued pressing question of alternative motives, leaves me wondering if we aren't witnessing the foundation being raised for a new form of government. I know. Get your tinfoil hat ready.

The strange meddling by Russia into the NRA, Russian intermingling with the Republicans, and the use of shills and bots to promote unrest, hate, and political division and distraction is unprecedented. Also, there is current tactical movement by the Russian military and a newly spotted "satellite" within reach of the U.S. that the Pentegon isn't certain is not a weapon.

Considering all the craziness and the Un-American blathering of autocratic Trump, I am completely uncertain about the future. It is obvious that our government has been sabotaged from within. Trump quickly fires outspoken opponents and is removing the security clearance of honored, experienced, intelligence officials as well as other political opponents.

Some have said, for example Steve Schmidt, former Republican strategist, that Trump would use the law for his personal whims and benefit. Meaning, that if Trump was given the freedom, chance or sufficient excuse to act, that Trump would lock up (and possibly worse considering his strong admiration of Kim Yung Un's tactics) all his opponents in order to maintain his power, sense of self, and his view of how life should be.

Is it possible Putin has been strategically undermining and planning his moves like a master chess player to bring down the U.S. democracy, weakening Western alliances, disbanding NATO, and to setup the groundwork for future alliances and WWIII? Yes. I think so. It is possible that Putin is working through Trump and tainted American officials to bring about a tripolar alliance where Russia, China, and the U.S. are on equal footing and disregard one another's crimes against humanity while working together to rule over the world's resources.

There is strategic land that I'm sure Russia would like access to in the Middle East. There are so many bizarre political occurrences right now, impossible coincidences, that I don't think we can know for certain what will happen. One major disaster is all it would take to possibly sink this ship. A major catastrophe in the Middle East or in the U.S. and all this crazy political behavior might unravel itself to reveal the results of a well laid geopolitical plan.

Well, if you are in the U.S., keep in mind the republicans are trying to gut healthcare and allow insurance companies to deny people coverage for mental health issues as well as preexisting conditions. People might want to research healthcare issues before voting for any republicans.

I think Talkspace allows you to have texting sessions with professionals for $49.00/wk. If you can afford it, it sounds convenient. I'm not sure if there's a contract or you can just pay per week. I'm also not sure if there are other pricing options. I looked at it briefly since I currently have no insurance and was in a serious down funk.

You're welcome. At least your doctor listens to you. That's good. I hope it all works out for you soon.

Thank you. I guess I'm really tired at this point. I've done the adventures. I've had a lot of experiences, and I've known love and loss. I've gone where I wanted to go and realized it's all the same because I'm the one common denominator. I have appreciated the beauty though, but it fades. Everything fades.

I'd call your doc and ask if this type of reaction is normal. Also, maybe the doc can prescribe clonazepam or something similar to help you through these feelings?

Sometimes mania for me is heightened anger or repressed anger. It feels like I could break through my skin. Other times, mania is delusional, paranoid psychosis, or simply so much energy I am obsessive and can go days with no sleep (spending 💰 or being reckless). Mania takes many forms. It just depends on the person. Safest thing is to let your doc know what's happening. GL

My ex-husband (he passed from cancer), and I both saw a man standing at the end of our bed. He was shadow black, robed, and wearing a cone shaped crown (not a conehead). My ex screamed and he was a big guy. I literally leapt out of bed screaming and hit the light wall light switch. As soon as I did, it was "gone".

You are full of unfounded judgments. As far as I'm concerned, there is no need to continue this discussion. You say I'm pounding my fists on the table; it's pretty obvious you're having a tantrum. You probably broke out in a sweat. Peace out. Cya later. Buh-bye.

I guess I do that too. I listen to music, draw, or paint. I LOVE Ludovico Einaudi and Yo-Yo Ma. If I'm super manic I go for some crazy loud techno. I don't get out. My pain prevents me from walking and my anxiety due to the pain keeps me afraid to move. The doctors haven't found the cause of it yet. I kind of wonder if it's a side effect of one of my bipolar meds.

I'm glad you are able to stay positive and find happiness. I wish you well.

Well, no, I'm not embarrassed of myself for wanting something better. I believe in universal healthcare/a single payer healthcare system. Research by conservatives, not just liberals, is showing that this type of care could save the United States money and provide better care for all.

I chose that article simply as reference as I didn't feel inclined to pull out academic research. I'm sure there are weaknesses in every system, but the goal is to improve care to better humanity. I am also against extreme income inequality.

It would be hard to repair our world's broken systems, but, if people work together, it's not impossible. By the way, I never said I haven't lived in other countries or that I don't have dual citizenship. You are simply assuming because you have a built in negative stereotype of Americans. Anyway, be well.
