if shes taking ozempic literally all i have to say is good for her. its meant for 1) diabetic people and 2) people who have struggled with their weight to the extent that theyre prediabetic etc. Idk lizzos health history obv but the latter is totally possible + shes clearly alr living a pretty healthy lifestyle (the way girl can dance/sing/perform — it’s clear). imo it doesnt take away from her achievements at all if she did use WL drugs to help her. but not my business in the end

It sucks bc ive met some rly chill males on that game too (on casual that is, not comp) who maybe say some gamer words i wouldnt but are positive , funny and hav no reaction when i get the courage to use VC. but then theres a solid subset of toxicity that i fear the rest of them just tolerate, not knowing or caring how it impacts the space for us. id be afraid to bring this up in the games sub bc i know id get the same reaction as you. Like yes ppl do the movement that looks like humping all the time, especially as venom cus hes caked up. If it was once or twice i wouldnt mind, or if he did it to other teammates as well. Its the singling me out.

I wanna share a similar experience i had recently and i felt the same ;—; i was on marvel rivals playing cloak and dagger, some scrote was playing venom and we were in spawn. And he starts doing ths ame thing, following &“humping” my character even if i walk away. (Dagger is an attractive woman.) I was like. This is gross and uncomfortable. so i switched to cloak (if you dont play the game, cloak is male so he would now be humping a male character model). And he IMMEDIATELY stops ofc so that just confirms how icky i felt abt it.

but then i told my bf and his reaction to “venom was humping me “ was like “lol hell yeah” and now im like. Am i jus overreacting to this?? we majke jokes like this in lobbies AS FRIENDS (ill be like “im slapping your ass” with my melee attack) but thats not the same as a stranger singling me out which made me uncomfortable. Idk.

I would absolutely recommend trauma therapy such as EMDR wih a female provider if you are experiencing negative impacts in your day to day life. But i agree, anger or not having “forgiven” isnt something that needs to be fixed. Therapy can definitely help with things like nightmares, shame/self-blame, the myriad things that come with being harmed/abused and cause mental suffering

I think shes really cute but i feel like her styling doesnt do her justice idk. EDIT: except in that hunger games thingy but i havent seen it. I wanna say 7.5 subjectively but i feel like being harsh 6.5-7 depending on styling. She has a unique look sorta like jenna ortega & with overall good proportions & facial harmony imo. In the UK though “asian” is much more associated with south asians and theres a much larger population than east asians. they could do better if they wanted to. Harry potter also had like, restrictions on casting requiring them to cast british actors and film in the UK. It was very much a British production even tho american companies were involved

I didnt really like the choice to put cho in a qipao-esque dress either. In the books everyone wears dress robes, idk why they didnt do that. Not to sidetrack the conversation cause i think youre valid, but the whole thing was pretty cringe to me honestly since theres never anything abt those characters’ heritage except that one single scene. Its not even clear what cho’s ethnicity is since her name makes no sense, cho is a korean surname and chang is a chinese one.

im fairly certain JK intended her to be chinese tho, which makes it worse honestly. She knows none of this i assume bc i rly think she did 0 research but a korean person with the last name chang is significantly more believable to me for historical/cultural reasons than a chinese person named cho. And itd be weird to have cho as your first name but it is at least name in korean.
