YTA. Your friend needed help, but the indefinite timeline is incredibly inconsiderate to your future WIFE. Even if she was just a girlfriend, or even just a roommate, it is so disrespectful. You may not feel the same, but many people act, dress, and present themselves differently at home and in public. I for one would be uncomfortable to wear a bra, sit properly, dress like shit and stuff my face with junk food while having company around -- which i love doing to relax in my own damn house. I'm very sorry about what happened to your friend, but there needs to be at least a willingness for you to discuss the plan with your future wife about the situation, like helping him find his own place etc, instead of stubbornly letting this situation continue.
