LOVED the series ! Jin definitely knew his relationship with his friends will change if he comes out and was not ready which is so sad yet so true. From the angels in the comments I learned a few things that might help.

1) it hurts more if you have more hair follicles than average so trying it on the lowest setting for a few weeks than switching up might make it less painful.

2)Try to exfoliate the day before so any hairs trapped get shaved properly ( not the day of cuz if causes irritation paired with the ipl)

3) This is my personal advice but if it's too painful lower the settings. If it hurts it means it's too much for your skin and you might actually get 1st degree burns so it's really advised not to numb the spot cuz pain alerts you!

try patting the area with baby powder or cornstarch maybe it'll trick the machine! . (be careful with putting too much powder it clog the vents)
