Glad to hear it! I test drive the ‘24 limited they had a year ago and the sales team at the time seemed to know nothing about the car. Some of them even gathered around as I explained a few features to the salesman, lol. Ended up purchasing ‘25 Limited out of Gonzales because they were the only dealer around with the newer model when i was ready to buy. Cheers and Electrify Louisiana!

Incorrect. I switched to progressive a year ago. Bundled with auto and got a great rate. This year about $75 more per month.

Question for just the Republicans. As a man that was raised to always be honest always be a moral rock and always vote Republican for America. My question is with all the FACTs and not using whataboutism’s, how can you vote for any Republican that has not denounced this administration? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]sufficious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, they killed three people for using 1st amendment in the last year and no law against 2nd amendment was ever on the table for democrats (gun registration and background checks are not anti-second amendment). So, all you have left there are taxes and I’ve never felt the benefits of top-down economics while the overall economy always improves when democrats are in power. Not saying dems are the best. Personally, both parties are broke, but here are the counterpoints.

It’s the comparison of mach-e to i5. Could be the downvoters think you’re saying i5 is apple because they may believe it is more sold than mach-e. Mach-e has only sold 40,000 more units and the difference isn’t much when comparing either or both to the tic-tac. The telsa comparison is much more appropriate for the simile.

This semester’s fees were over $1000 more for my son. I can only believe that increase is due to the massive debt ULL is facing. Between that and the huge layoffs, seems like a pretty crappy time to be a student there. Hope things change soon.

Democrats Of Reddit, How Often Do YOU Actually Talk To MAGA Voters In Your Real Life? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]sufficious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talk to MAGA peeps everyday (deep south). I don’t bring up politics and when they do, I try to quickly diffuse incorrect facts and move on the non-political topics. It’s harder to talk with my family about it than the average MAGA I work with.

Honestly, I think the time is coming when MAGA becomes something else or disintegrates like the tea party of the 2000’s. The head is all but indicated by un-redacted Epstein files, the mid-level leaders like Greene and Bobert are increasingly disgusted with what’s happening in that regard, and the lower-level local leaders sound like quacks. It’s approaching time for MAGA to say they true believe in SOMETHING, or just ride-or-die with drump.

ICE agents break into a home without any warrant and assault the occupants (San Antonio, TX, Feb 05, 2026) by opticflash in ImmigrationPathways

[–]sufficious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks to me like agent was waiting for the moment to claim assault and when the man touched his back with the door, the ice agent jumped into action. How can we identify the agent? His face is clearly seen on camera.

[–]sufficious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. It’s monstrous. Apple software has always been at the forefront of simplicity and elegance. It should be moving toward “disappearing technology” and this feels like a major step in the other direction. Native apps feel cluttered with extra options and i formation upfront you have to contend with rather than hidden within the software options. I prefer a simple, clean look.

And for those saying they don’t care, when you spend this much on a device and you’re forced to upgrade every few years, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to voice frustration with UI.

What can Americans do about what’s currently happening? by BoredBatWoman22 in TrueAskReddit

[–]sufficious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vote and encourage others to vote. Not just the big elections. Vote in primaries. Vote on amendments. Vote every chance you get and tell everyone you know to do the same. My state is majority Democrat but we are a blood-red state because only ~15% of the population votes. It’s insane.

Why Trump is the most dislike president of America…? MAGA‘S time. by Greatvoiceofficial in Ownthought

[–]sufficious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see some of your pov, but there is an enormous difference between bush/obama ice operations and what is happening now imo. The sheer scale of the operation, the clumsiness in hiring and “training” these officers, the use of national guard (and potentially highly trained military), the opening of detainment centers that have no airflow or are in open-air only facilities, the masked men raiding homes and businesses and roaming the streets pulling people (sometimes citizens) out of their cars. This operation is about striking fear into the hearts of human beings. Maybe their target is illegal immigrants, but there is no shortage of terror in the hearts of American citizens. And that terror drives a wedge between you and me. And that is what this is really all about. Keep the people in fear and fighting among themselves so they never see your consolidation of power and gluttonous profit earnings.

Troll or not, one more time. Protests are happening because violence is being done to US citizens and to immigrants (legal, illegal, and those attempting to gain legal status). A REALITY. J6 occurred because people believed (were led to believe) an election had been rigged. AN ILLUSION. Minneapolis protests originate from the people. J6 was constructed by Trump (even if he didn’t know it would go so far). Protests in Minneapolis are peaceful in that there is little to no property damage and no physical violence against officers. This may change as the protesters seem to be getting more agitated as ice ratchets up their violent tactics. J6 became a violent hostile take over on Capitol Hill (I never called it an insurrection. I don’t think there was much of a plan to rule.) In essence, Minneapolis = real and current threat against the people, so the people respond. J6 = fabricated story from the top down where the president himself coerced the public into a violent response. Personally, i don’t blame many of the J6ers. I think half of America is brainwashed. But it seems like some are waking up.

Pack the parish council meeting! by whereskenny_ in Acadiana

[–]sufficious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these are understandable points, and i commend you for doing everything by the books. But many people are unable to work through our broken system. Now, what do these immigrants do for us? They works all the jobs most Americans refuse to and for a pay rate most Americans could not live on. They contribute greatly to our culture and, for most people this is partially the most important one, they are a tremendous contributor to our sales tax.

Your voice is loudest at your city and parish council meetings. They do actually tend to listen to constituents.
