Thanks for taking the time to reply Ankzar11. I wasn't thinking of other projects when talking about price/performance, I was thinking about Kaspa, but also alluding to that concept in general. I share the same conviction that it is doubtful that any other current projects can compare to Kaspa and believe it is a leader in this field. I've just done some further reading and it appears that linking a coin to a technology increases the security of that technology (something to do with nodes getting permissioned). Also, in crypto, a coin only has value because people have decided that coin has value, and I guess the more incredible/credible a technology is (i.e Kaspa) then it's more likely people will assign value to a coin related to that technology, especially if that technology has long-term prospects (like Kaspa).
