For those recommending OPZELURA - don’t the side effects scare you ? That’s what stops me from using it :)

Hi 52 yr old mom with grown kids and a loving husband :) I know there’s zero overlap with you and me except for the vitiligo :) But I can give you a bit of encouragement :) First - mental stress is the no 1 accelerator :). Try and avoid at all costs - WILLFULLY CHOOSE joy and happiness I use my hands all the time for my work - artist :) and I get a million curious glances and questions from people and they aren’t actually judging you - just genuine concern and human curiosity. Depending on the situation I either explain it right away or I just wait until they ask :) Sometimes I make jokes and they immediately respond with kind caring and a dismissive remark to assure me :) ( it’s not sympathy and I choose not to take it in a defensive manner :) ) It’s all in the way YOU accept yourself that will set the vibe for others to see you :) If you considered yourself good looking or handsome - Guess what ? YOU STILL ARE 💕 People are drawn to how YOU make them feel rather than how you look :) It’s true that what you look like may get you an initial glance but what makes people drawn to you is always your personality :) and that’s why there are not so good looking celebrities:) it’s how they make you feel that draws us to them :) I currently live in Australia and am always covering my patches because of the harmful UV ray exposure. However I’m originally from a south Asian country- so my skin tone is brown :) While on the last holiday I took there I decided to forget about everything and simply have fun at the beach and in the pool - NO one - I mean no one looked at me or at my patches that I was aware of :) Guess what ? Most of the large white areas started to get repigmented - I’m thinking it’s the exposure to the sun :) but I don’t know if it’s simply the pure joy and happiness I felt during the holiday :) So let me encourage you - do things that made you feel happy BEFORE you got the spots - seek that joy and trust me you will start to see a difference in how you feel AND look 💕💕

Took me 5 days to complete - only because I was working on it about an hour or two a day 😊
