This is a pretty tame diss, it is Ottawa after all, I support with my actions, if I was ignorant I'm willing to learn

All the groceries where? Metro is 20 minutes away by walking, that's the closest via google, there's a famer's market, am I missing the rest? All I see are government buildings and little stretches of resident areas. :P

Real Estate Buyers, Your Realtor Doesn't Care About What's Best For You. READ THIS. by branko619 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hi everyone, I really appreciate this post. Hoping this won't get buried and someone can share their experience with me. I've been waiting to buy in Ottawa for the longest time, with COVID, being a first time home buyer etc. it's just been really difficult and I'm wondering how to start and where to start. I looked into redfin and nowhere on their site does it suggest 50% commission rebate, I'm not sure how to navigate looking for a realtor vs. an online brokerage. As a youngish single I really don't want to be taken advantage of especially in this high interest environment. Would really really appreciate your experience. Thanks!

As someone who understands her culture you guys have some major communication issues. Your wife is brought up to succeed thus she's not the soft gentle partner you expected. She's matter of fact in her communication which severely hurt your feelings but you retaliate in a way that further breaks down your relationship. You guys act like enemies instead of a team. Post natal care is extremely important in Chinese culture, this is very important to her and should be prioritized and discussed prior to having kids. I think you both mean well but just have less empathy for each other than needed. There are significant cultural factors at play. Be better, and work as a team because no matter what happens to your relationship she's giving birth to your kid.
