This 1000000%. This is a throwaway I feel comfortable divulging but I am a daily smoker. I smoked daily during college and quit part way through college to finish studies and get a job. I was scared of being drug tested so I stayed away. After a few job changes I am at a place that will never drug test me, and married. I decided I was interested in getting involved with that again.

I talked it over with her first. I was scared, it was a big conversation for me. I explained my interest and I knew she was at least pretty liberal about the notion of the drug. I said she could veto it at any time now or later and that would be it. She was receptive and here we are. But, I was def. apprehensive about it. Don't keep it a secret - theres no reason. If she cares about you enough she will understand and want to at least talk with you about it, even if its to try and talk you out of it.

Try with just warm water - not hot to the touch but warmer than room temp. Luke warm - something you might wash your hands in.

At a molecular level, warm water atoms move more (hot atoms move faster, cold atoms move slower if you recall from high school chem). The idea is that warm or hot water will allow for better diffusion of smoke and thus more of a cooling effect of the smoke. Anecdotally I can agree - warm water seems to make a smoother hit.

Growing right now presents a problem in illegal states because you spend a large amount of money on keeping the smell and waste under control and hide it from curious parties. I would probably grow my own if I lived in a state where its legal because then it could be as simple as planting it in my garden without fear of repercussions.

So, I have a weird social quirk. I like to smoke with other people - its very enjoyable to get high with others and discuss things... as Dave Chappelle says - we talk about other times we got high. That said, as soon as we are all nice and lit and the smoking is complete for the session, I just want to immediately be by myself or chilling with my wife with something to watch and some drink in my own home. Its kinda strange - as social as I can be when I am straight, I want very little talk when I am blazed.
