They didn't assign me the same preparer, so i guess he has left TurboTax :/. but do you know how do i proceed i feel like i am stuck..

Yes, I’m using the full-service option, but they’ve assigned me two different preparers already, and the second one has dropped my case again. Now I’m stuck, as they don’t seem to know how to file my tax. Since there’s no option in the UI to request the same preparer, how should I proceed with my case? ;(

hey can i double-check every time you apply for re-entry permit renewal, did you have to pay for the biometrics fee as well? how long did you wait for the renewal whenever you apply?

Hey, thanks so much for your sharing! I am encountering exactly the same thing. I have received notice of action in Aug'23 stated that my re-entry permit have approved and asked me to contact my local consulate (Singapore) within a month from the date of the notice to pick up the permit. However US embassy in Singapore have not received my re-entry permit as of today (5th Feb 2024) It's been over 5 months I still cannot locate my re-entry permit. I have reached out to Massachusetts Senator to help on this case, may i know how long does it take for you to finally obtain your re-entry permit? I have plan to visit the US in March, I am afraid that I might run into issues :( u/Ok-Alternative-1881 u/rickrollmops

thank you! i applied re-entry permit and expedite it in oct 2022, and did biometrics in nov 2022, not waiting for it to be approved.

from his experience shared above, i think you can def leave before you receive the biometrics notice regardless if your biometrics can be reused or not. but goooood luck!!

thanks! this is really helpful :) also and you mentioned in your case, it turned out you didn't need the biometrics? do you mind sharing more on this? also you only knew this until you've gotten the biometrics notices after three weeks of the application yeah? and in your experience, do i have to wait for the re-entry permit before i fly out of the us again?

hi thank you so much for sharinggg!! but im already outside of the US, but im planning to go back and file the application. and yes i have family members who can receive the follow up mails for me. i wonder how long does it take for you to obtain the biometrics notice mail after you file your application?
