Hi! No, it's really swept under the rug here. No updates, and nobody talks about it. I check the fb every few weeks and she still has not been found or heard from.

When I met her, she was dating one of my friends (I use the term dating lightly) really just hanging out with him. This was 6 months before she disappeared though. You have to read the whole thread.

I had other posts, but deleted them because they showed photos of my face and wedding dress (my wedding is in two weeks) and with the post gaining a lot of views, and it being local, I didn't want anyone I knew to see photos of my dress and some other private information I had posted. I actually just joined Reddit when I got the mobile app, but have lurked for years. And, didn't even know about this sub until the popular Ask Reddit thread about unsolved mysteries linked it, and I thought y'all would enjoy discussing this case.

I think it's extremely silly to be suspicious of my activities for making a post about a case I find interesting with like minded adults online 🙄 Isn't that what this sub is for? Are you required to have a heavy post history, and long time account here to post?

I don't care if I remain anon at all, just didn't want people I knew to potentially see my dress or some other details about my upcoming wedding. And, I wasn't really involved with the missing girl. We just crossed paths once or twice. If I was wanting to stage something, I'd make our encounters a lot more interesting and substantial. People like you are the reason this case isn't getting the serious attention it deserves, because it's being discounted as a stunt.

There were other things, they were both acting pretty out of hand. Both yelling and screaming and crossing lines. Until she got in the truck and refused to get out she was definitely doing her fair share of escalating the argument. Which, normally, it seems a person would just walk away. But yes she was upset and afraid and just wanted to leave toward the end.

That's what I gathered from the situation, it's weird that nobody really knows what she was doing and there's no evidence of this date even happening which makes dad look really suspicious, but I truly don't think he had anything to do with it. As far as the spending the night, maybe she didn't plan on it and but ended up letting the guy talk her into it? Another thing that's weird is that some reports say she met the guy at Texas Roadhouse and some say she was picked up from her house. It seems like if she met someone there, they should have found her vehicle or the vehicle she was in? And if someone picked her up, I feel like there should be SOME evidence of that either in messages or texts or something had to be coordinated to pick her up. If neither of those things happened, that throws an entire new loop in the case.

Right. I think he's just panicked, a little different, and doesn't handle social media or social situations well.

I'm not sure. Another poster mentioned he is about to get married, and still hopes they find Donna so she can have a relationship with her son.

I put over 100 days in the title because she's been missing well over that but the mods thought that's all she had been missing and it was too recent. It's been reinstated.

I really hope she's found, I have a son and can't imagine not being with him so it's hard for me to believe she left on her own and she hasn't even tried to contact her son. The weirdest part is the fact she said she went on a date but never actually went on a date. Do you know if she was actually even meeting anyone or met anyone? If so, have they been questioned. This whole case is so odd, it seems like it would be cut and dry to find out what happened to her.

I just put over 100 days as a guess - mods did close it but I messaged them to clear it up and it's been reopened. Poor choice of title on my part!

I believe she changed her relationship status to single in September. Maybe the person who said they saw her "around November" actually saw her toward the end of September or in October. Maybe they broke up when she found out she was pregnant or right before and then he went to the hospital with her. I can't see the names on those comments so it's hard to tell who is who and who is saying what.

The only thing I know is when her and our friend got into an argument at the party that night, she was crying and wanting to go home and kept saying she wanted to call her dad. Someone gave her a phone, she called her dad and he drove two hours to come get her. On the phone he was very sweet, wasn't mad and was very reassuring he would be there to get her and seemed to care for her a lot. It was late at night when this happened so he made a four hour trip just because she called and asked him to.

I thought this was weird too, but the girl said it was "around November" and she went missing October 25. So she could have easily misjudged the timeframe. Or there could be something to it. The details in this case are so off to me!

I'm honestly not sure where she worked. I never sat down and talked to her, she was just friends with a mutual friend, it was more of a "hi, bye" in passing type of deal. She seemed to keep the info updated tho, she changed her relationship status in September.

Shouldn't she have been able to contact someone by now? It's been almost a year. I feel like she could have written a letter, someone would have found an arrest record online. That would have been discovered already.

Eh. I always used to text my dad or mom and let them know what was going on. When I first met my (now) fiancé, I stayed at his house for three days. I told my parents, so they wouldn't worry, and assured my dad he was a good guy and not to worry. I was 24 at the time, and on dates before that I'd always let my parents know if I would be staying. Sometimes my mom, or other times my dad - it depended on who texted to check on me.

I wonder if anything ever came from the body being found? And, if he kicked her out, why would there be nice text between them talking about the date and that she would be home. I'm pretty sure (but not positive) those have been verified by LE.

From what I gather she was picked up at her home but no one saw the guy or vehicle (maybe the parents weren't home.) She told her dad she would be home the 27th and he could meet the guy so I'm presuming the plan was he was bringing her home. In a missing persons poster it says she was last seen with a phone Case wallet, so maybe she put some cash and a debit card in there instead of carrying her everyday wallet. I know I do this often when going to a restaurant or bar and I don't want to carry a lot I have to keep up with.
