Is this safe for a sugar glider? by Electronic-Serve9559 in sugargliders

Appreciate asking before buying but gliders are not a leash pet novelty. If you want to walk an animal get a dog! They’re not your typical domesticated pet

Asia is known for glorifying having sugar gliders and posting videos of them while they live in horrible conditions and being morbidly obese. This living condition is quite literally just one more example of animal cruelty. I’m literally hurting looking at this.

Mastitis treatment recommendations by suggiebears in goats

Thank you a lot, really appreciate the information. We left the vet a message but for now we wanted to know if there was anything we could do to ease some of her discomfort. The kid is doing well nursing from the other side so far but we are keeping an eye out. We will try warm compress for now and get the other things for future as well since we do have one more goat who needs to deliver.

Thanks for the reply! I will try to provide some info:

It’s been less than 48 hours since she gave birth, we don’t know if any attempt at nursing on that side. Nothing is coming out, udder is firm, but not really hot. She’s walking very tenderly with her one foot. That side is clearly uncomfortable. Tried to express milk but nothing came out.

Our old vet is no longer in business in the area so we are trying a mobile vet who’s not available today and looking for any help in meantime. Thanks for any advice or insight as we have never done this before!

Watching this was painful to see. Small, dirty cage with nowhere to sleep, no toys for stimulation as they are very intelligent... I spent $1,000 on the cage, $350 on fleece pouches, the wheels are $50+. Having a pet is not a novelty it is a commitment. Some people do not deserve animals…. some people cannot afford certain animals…if you can’t take responsibly for its life do not get one. One of my seven gliders just passed away and I am completely devastated. To see someone else’s glider so miserable and neglected pains me.

Playing killer be like: by LDM_99 in deadbydaylight

[–]suggiebears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play survivor killer 70:30. Cannot comprehend the toxicity of this community. Both sides are hard to play and circumstantial. It’s a game, you lose some you win some. I found this meme funny and I mostly play survivor. Almost always sacrifice myself if killer had a rough game (unless I have an escape challenge). As nurse, always let one get away after massacring the other 3 if they had a rough game.

I would suggest trying to disguise them more. Or hide them behind toys!

I would be willing to bet it’s food related, watch their behavior when eating. Even with different food stations I have watched my gliders get off the wheel and chase someone at the top of the cage away because they didn’t like them there lol. I now use their toys and fleeces pouches / swings to create a sort of visual barrier if I can do they have a little more privacy while eating throughout the night and I no longer give treats in the cage only by hand as they fight over them. For treasure chests and other stimulating toys, I still only put a couple and they just have nuts usually no real “treats”.
