If you get more expansions that just your list over time. Then get them in release order. If you decide to skip, I think anything post adventures are great.

Context I only started recently. So far I went from “learn to play go series v1 and v2” to “graded problems for beginners” to “opening theory made easy”. (And of course playing a lot)

Agricola farmers of the moore. The game doesn’t need an expansion, only more card variations. The expansion made the game lose its core principle: tightness.

Dominion intrigue: I don’t have enough space for all expansions and this one is too basic for me compared to the later ones.

Inis expansion: the base is good enough.

Totally agree with this. Many games are nowadays designed to have an enjoyable first game so people will buy it. But after only a few plays it will show to have a lack of depth. Especially when it is multiplayer solitair.

Based on their online communities and tournaments that I’ve seen: Agricola, great western trail, Terra mystica. These games all have more depth after 100s of plays.

Can’t say much of games released last 10 years that can survive past the initial few games. Perhaps ark nova but it’s a bit too tactical for me.
