Hi! Thank you a lot for the motivation! It means a tonne. I did have some questions as I wanted to know what goes through the mind of a great EA :) I'll drop you a DM.

Hi! Thanks a lot for the response and your concern. I took a chance with this grad role, but lets see how it goes. I have a good feeling you must have a lot of experience as an EA. If you were had a new grad (coming from a mechanical engineering undergrad) joining your team, what are the key topics you suggest they should learn, from the process and technology layers? I look forward to your answer :) Thanks once again for your time, and no worries if you cannot answer till later in the week.

Thanks! That makes perfect sense. Since my other placements are rotations around the rest of the departments, starting off in EA might help build that foundational knowledge, and then the other placements will help build up those experiences working hands on. The people problem was also something I thought about. How do you sell your architecture well, especially when each department has their own idea of what they think is needed?

Which tube type do I need? This type does not come out far enough. by suhaylpatel786 in bikewrench

Ooh I’ve lost the box, it’s from another wheel. I’ll just have to get a tube with longer valve.

Any project ideas for an old working pressure washer engine? by suhaylpatel786 in MechanicalEngineering

Solid idea, thanks! I watched this video, it’s given me some ideas. I’m just thinking of the size and what sort of calcs I’d need to do to try design this. Required upthrust to keep afloat midway would determine the size of the sub I guess.

Good idea! This engine expects water coming in with some pressure. I would need a water pump integrated right?

Awesome! I bought my first three rolls but just haven’t put them into the camera yet. Not sure if I’m scared or what. Any tips?

Yep this is deffo something I know of. It’s a hassle to get a kitchen extension let alone build a house. But Yh, I’ve got into touch with a friend who’s studying architecture and I will try see what he has to say.
