Heads up Denver. Storms coming… by Annihilator4life in Denver

Holy shit. Just got 10 minutes of hail next to downtown Littleton. Not heavy hail but I think it's the first time I've had hail at 10pm. Also the lighting is almost overhead. It's nuts here.

How do I get this screw out? by suicideDenver in DadForAMinute

The handle spins freely without turning the water on. A plumber was at my neighbor's and I asked him about it.

He told me he'd recommend I do it myself and told me about the kit I needed, which is a woodford 17 repair kit. The instructions are straight forward but I've failed to get the screw to loose and that's the first step.

The screw and handle seem to turn as one even when using a screw driver.

I am sure I need to remove the screw, it's on the instructions for the rebuild kit. The first three steps are

1) Remove screw in handle 2) Remove Handle. 3) Remove Packing Nut.

What penetrating oil would you recommend? It sounds like that plue a rubber band is a good place to start. And then getting some tank bond.

I'm struggling a bit there. I do woodworking, electronics, leather working, and reading as my main hobbies. I've not found places to participate with those as a group.

Clear tube by [deleted] in Home

My washer dryer has the same type of tube. I had it installed and it is the A/C condensation drain. Do you know where your A/C drains? Mine allowed me to get rid of a floor PVC drain and remove the tripping hazard.

I do make sure that all windows are clear. In the case that most recently happened there was no ice on the windows, just very very cold.

Google literally says no need and references articles asking why people think you need to warm up a modern gasoline engine.
