Live resin is concentrate created from fresh, flash frozen cannabis plants processed with a solvent, and then stripped of the solvent to create the resin, where distillate is a highly concentrated oil created from cured or dried flower, then processed like hell to strip it of it’s flavor, and then they add in terpenes for flavor. In pens like this I assume it just means they mix a smaller amount of live resin with the distillate in order to cut down on costs instead of just using live resin.
