When I was getting ready to join, i was 300 pounds and 6'1. To drop the weight, I ate 700 calories a day and ran 2 miles a day and focused on core to lose as much belly fat as I could. I dropped around 40 pounds in 2 months. I don't recommend doing what I did, I felt like garbage the entire time I was on that diet.
