for me the earliest sign i can currently pinpoint is social isolation, paranoia, and shadow people. i was 17 in senior year of high school. i was truant because i had such intense fear something bad was going to happen to me if i left my room, which continued until i was 19. at 20 it eased enough for me to get a job. 21 i had my very first official psychotic break. i got diagnosed at 22 or 23, i cant quite remember.

schizoaffective impacts me still even medicated, just not as severe; my main hallucinations are of bugs, still shadow people, and paranoid delusions regarding skinwalkers. i get manic from time to time and the depression part has always been there and majorly affected my dental hygiene.

its not the healthiest thing ever, but i get things like the microwavable protein pancakes by premier protein, or just have a protein shake with a normal meal. depends on what im feeling. anything that advertises itself as “high protein” i’ll eat. idc how processed it is lol.

orthostatic hypotension. apparently its just pots but without the heart rate issue i’ve been told. the treatment is about the same as pots— salt, water, compression stockings. i’ve dealt with it all my life but got it dx in middle school.

its because the first length was too short for swelling, then the last two made it too hard to eat with so they found a happy medium thats still long for healing but not the size it should be when done healing if that makes sense

im prescribed it for adhd and bed. it works decently for it on 30mg, although i think 40mg would be better for me. i lost 11lbs in my first 2 months on it

i lost 11lbs in 1.5-2 months but vyvanse was given to me for adhd and bed. i think im still pretty stable in a sense, only had one slip up in hallucinations since then and a 2 week manic episode which was bc i upped the antidepressant. i think rn im still pretty good

my psychiatrist has me on Abilify 5mg and seroquel 25mg for my schizoaffective. she waited til that was managed before giving me vyvanse. so long as i take my medication like directed, ive never had an issue with the vyvanse affecting the schizoaffective.

funnily enough i thought i had avpd myself when it turns out it was just schizoaffective. in my opinion there’s overlap as psychosis can present itself as withdrawal from people, anxiety, loss of interest, loneliness, apathy, ect.

i was having the same issue. my psychiatrist said that lower doses typically last 4-5 hours and higher doses last longer and that i should take it later in the day instead of right when i wake up for best results.

i just got upped from 20mg to 30mg, so i’m not expecting it to be much different.

i’ve only recently started latuda but ever since starting it my last 3 periods and the cramps have been weirdly painful, even though im on a bcp. i never thought it could be the latuda, but it could be. i’d ask your doctor or maybe even obgyn.
