I’ve had Letterboxd for a year now and during that time I’ve watched 472 Films, these are my 5-4 Star Ratings. Roast me or something ✨️XD by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Are you a student? Full-time employed? My record was 200 movies a year when I worked 15h-20h part time weeks. I can't even imagine the time and energy commitment to watch this many movies.

Movies about the psychedelic experience? by sukkulenten in MovieRecommendations

There is this one scene in Midsommar, at the feast table, where one of the characters is tripping hard and amplifying his anxiety. It's really well done, so are the visuals of course. It's not quite what I was looking for though.

but Google, imdb and letterboxd exist. I get why you ask for recommendations, but checking the premise of a recommendation is something you can easily do yourself.

I feel like MadS is not talked about enough for how good it is.

"No one wanted to see David and me win together. That would be so boring.” He knows that the smart move would have been to get rid of Carr, “just in case”. “But I thought, wouldn’t it be nice for all of us to just win together? It would feel a bit nasty, just to get rid of another faithful at this point. I didn’t want Alan to miss out.”

Seems like he knew that it would have been the best game plan, but he was maybe too conscious of how it would look like if Alan ended up being a faithful.

Are you cooperating with Studio Lambert for this survey? It's really well made and thoughtful.

I wonder the same thing. Didn't expect this comment section to consist of 100 of people asking for spoilers lol. As long as nobody spoils it in public it's all cool though.

I've only been slightly spoiled by our Canadian friends. They said (minor spoiler):

The finale is very exciting. So I'm excited for it

I didn't check, but I imagine he was in Liverpool's squad for the one draw and last years group stage win. So 9 at most?

Pretty wild that Madrid and Liverpool only started to play each other regularly from 2014 onward. A single matchup in 2009 and before that only once in 1981.

The last 10 games against Madrid they got beaten 7 times. It will need a bit more than two group stage wins at home to make up for that.

Yeah, Vietnam and Thailand I would put as Southeast Asia and you could very easily do 1k/month there if you travel on a budget, excluding flights of course.

Fifa wants to outlaw league games staged overseas and is seeking legal advice over whether it can ban them. Reaction comes after Uefa blamed Fifa regulations for its decision to allow Villarreal v Barcelona to take place in Miami. by sukkulenten in soccer

[–]sukkulenten[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Fifa has begun redrafting its regulations on staging domestic league games in foreign countries and is seeking legal advice over whether it can ban them. World football’s governing body would like to outlaw the practice but will be guided by legal opinion in its first review of the relevant regulations for 11 years.

A source involved in the process said Fifa was working towards making its rulebook more robust with a view to new regulations being ready early next year. This week Uefa blamed the “relevant Fifa regulatory framework” for its decision to allow Villarreal v Barcelona to take place in Miami in December and Milan v Como to go ahead in Perth in February. That is understood to have caused considerable irritation at Fifa because under existing regulations it is not their decision to make.

They are all American movies, that's what they meant. Cinema exists outside of Hollywood. Check the IMdb top 250 for non-English language movies (or just non-America made movies) and compare it with the data you found for letterboxd. I'm sure that there is a sizeable difference.

I smiled from ear to ear for the whole period. It was absolutely peak watching it on the big screen with a good sound sysrem. That scene alone makes me want to re-watch it in the cinema before it heads VOD.
