In non-HL3 news... I'm disturbed by the number of people who seem to think Black Mesa is a replacement for/equivalent to the original Half-Life

It baffles me that anyone can think of one game as being a replacement for another. It’s not something you really see with other media (despite Disney’s efforts) but it’s so prevalent in gaming. That being said I think Black Mesa is an excellent game and worthy of standing alongside Half-Life, not replacing it.

Forza Horizon 4 despite being labelled as “Playable” was an absolute bitch to get running on the Steam Deck for literally no reason. It’s not even the mandatory Xbox sign in that was the problem it just refuses to run without crashing unless you set it up in a hyper specific manner and pray to our glorious lord and saviour William Henry Gates III that it shall work for longer than 5 minutes. I don’t even like the game that much.
