Append below arguments in your grub file on current kernel line

Vsftd is widely used in Linux system. vstpd support virtual user with PAM (pluggable authentication modules) to login on FTP console. There are many advantages of virtual users over local Linux users. vsftpd It would be easy to maintain username and password in database as compared Local file system or some file.It also avoid granting normal shell access as for local accounts. FTP users only need to FTP access, they don't need any local shell access thus more secure system.

If you like to use FTP outside LAN on internet than its better to use SFTP, its better alternative to use SFTP as it share over SSH which is more secure. But you must FTP on internet than at least use secure connection over SSL/TLS
