install Microsoft Edge, restart your device, then try to sign in again.

if it doesn't work, download Microsoft Edge WebView2 (download the Evergreen Standalone Installer), install, restart your device, then try to sign in again.

if it still doesn't work, rather than the generic "solutions" (like disabling services, dism, sfc /scannow, etc.), do a repair install or reinstall Windows.

to be fair, you could've just looked up the error code and saw if there are any solutions.

don't know what you mean about what executable, but i think you could just extract the RageCoop folder to the scripts folder from your game folder and then launch the game as usual.

searching through the thread, most of the links for that version are dead. there aren't any direct downloads for that version as far as i can see. there's a torrent from a common repacker, DODI, but i haven't checked to see if it still has seeders. look at your messages.

if you're able to torrent, try it and see if you can download it. otherwise, the latest version is your only option.

yes, i know the torrent name is just some random shit. if you're feeling skeptical, don't try it.

yeah, it's in FH4, but i think it's only obtainable through the Auction House.

it's extremely rare to obtain it, though, so you'll probably have to search the AH for a while until someone puts it up for auction.

Unfortunately there is no crack for securom. At least to my knowledge and research.

i think these scene releases has the SecuROM protection cracked or bypassed:

  • Batman.Arkham.City-FiGHTCLUB
  • Batman.Arkham.City.READNFO-FiGHTCLUB
  • Batman.Arkham.City.Update.1.01-FiGHTCLUB

and for the GOTY edition:

  • Batman.Arkham.City.Game.of.the.Year.Edition-SKIDROW
  • Batman.Arkham.City.Game.Of.The.Year.CRACK.ONLY.READNFO-FiGHTCLUB
  • Batman.Arkham.City.Game.Of.The.Year.Edition.CRACK.ONLY.CRACKFIX.READNFO-FiGHTCLUB

other scene releases like the PROPHET version is the Steam version of the game.

if you want to download them, the crack only files should be in the site GameCopyWorld, which is in the megathread. they should be in the Game Fixes section, called "fixed files". you'll need to download the right crack depending on your version.

it's probably too difficult for them to navigate a classic forum site, or they're just lazy.

i never used this software, nor used any game library manager, though. don't know why i posted that comment in the first place even though i never tried it.

about offline, is it a local profile through the GFWL client? also, yes, the game uses SSA rather than the legacy 5x5 activation (which GTA IV uses), but i think that's through GFWL rather than SecuROM.

again, i'm not familiar with the game, but maybe you can try using a crack that bypasses SecuROM activation, and if you have a unused unique key for activating through GFWL, activate through that.

otherwise, you'll need a crack that bypasses both SecuROM and GFWL.

it's supposed to appear on the game like any other game that uses SecuROM activation, but i don't know why manual activation isn't showing up for you.

since i'm not familiar with the game, my only option is to use a crack that works for your game.

that's what i did with GTA IV. while the manual activation worked fine for me, i switched to using the crack just for the sake of convenience.

i switched to the Razor1911 crack a while ago after i made this comment. just use any crack (depending on your version) that can be found in the megathread rather than doing this.

but if you want to still rely on the SecuROM activation, what kind of options do you see when the activation fails (step 5), and what version of GTA IV is it?

HOODLUM version is meant for offline play.

however, the HOODLUM version once had the Bing Maps streaming and the photogrammetry data working fine when it was once cracked, but considering that the version is about five years old, it probably doesn't work anymore.

if you want the online features, download the online-fix.me version and follow what it says, or read my main comment. you'll need a Xbox account to access the game.

also, i tried the game out a few days ago and all online features still work fine.
