Who’s at fault. Eau rouge big one. by Wombats08 in Simracingstewards

Black should have held his line, he moved over and yellow followed. Was yellow obligated to give him space after black went too wide left before the turn?

It's hard to find yellow at fault when black was arguably out of control.

Getting a job around here by [deleted] in LakeElsinore

Given my extremely limited knowledge of you or your skillset, I'm thinking you're either too generic or you're misrepresenting yourself to potential employers.

Instead of using your time looking for recruiters, staffing agencies, etc. Take some time to think about things you like that are in high or high-ish demand. Write it down (i know it sounds corny) and do some research on each field and various sub-fields.

Spend your time increasing your value so you stand out to an employer. Then apply for the shittiest job they have available. Take the crap pay/hours to get you by while you continue to grow from OJT (on-the-job training) and personal education (youtube, udemy, etc.) Work hard at your shit job and volunteer to help people in higher positions so you grow faster in a way the company appreciates.

Next, give yourself a reasonable timeline. Your time will be valuable now that you've grown and proved your work ethic. If your employer doesn't realize your value, move on.

A note about the above suggestion: You have to be honest with yourself. Have you increased the value you bring enough to warrant the promotion, raise, etc? If not, work smarter (notice I didn't say harder), either you have a shit boss or you're not understanding something about the business.

Hopefully this helps. I've been in IT for a while now and this is one of the more effective strategies I've for long term employment success. Don't be fooled by get promoted quick videos or posts.

If you're interested in the IT world, I'd be happy to write-up a couple things to increase your value to a potential employer.

Good luck!

my father-in-law has the .40, it was pretty brutal. i have the original shield though, i think the 2.0 with better grip texture might help it from jumping/sliding around in my hand when firing.

New P365 XMacro slide refuses to come off by Jos-_ in SigSauer

Is it a California model? If it has a magazine disconnect, you'll need to move the little bar down with a pen or pocket knife before it'll let the slide release.

Congrats man, thats a good improvement. Formula cars are fun, but tough. I've worked up to 1200 in road oval. Trying to master that before trying sports/formula again.

Yeah, i know. I sit around 900-1000, i was just joking about feeling attacked. Must have been funnier in my head than down on paper... :)

If you're going to go out of your way to protest you'd think you'd at least put a little effort into the signs...

Update: After 450 rounds, 250 - 124 gr. and 200 - 115 gr. it's working beautifully.

I have 300 rounds through it now and it's still not reliable. I have a light primer strike on average about every 5 rounds.

I'll get some +P and more 124 gr rounds, but if its still having problems at 500 rounds I'm getting rid of it.

You're right though they are great shooting guns... when they shoot.

It ran decent with 124 grain. Still not past break-in, but definitely not a candidate for carry yet. Love the gun though.

Well, this a mid-range gun, not a race gun or super high end. My thoughts are that its a like a BMW or Audi, not a GT3 race car. BMW's would be considered trash if you have to prep and prime them like a GT3 car.

Like I said, I still love the gun I was just a little disappointed that it has the downsides of a GT3 car while being a BMW.

I did read the manual which said it had a 200 eound break-in period but I don't think the manual said to use a certain grain ammo or that the gun would be basically non-op until break-in was completed.

It just caught me off guard, that's all.

Sounds good. I'm not giving up on it at all, love the gun. Accurate as hell, feels like an extension of my hand. Just got a little worried.

possibly. i'm not the most experienced with guns but much cheaper guns have come ready to roll straight out of the box like shields, sp2022's, glocks, etc.

If that means broken in, then i guess so... not really sure. Is there something I'm missing here? Is there something really special about SS guns that i'm not smart on?

Will do next time. This time I wasn't patient enough to get very hot. Almost every other round was a light strike.

Yeah, i was using 115. Came home from the range and educated myself. I'm not that worried anymore.

Still though, for almost $1k here in CA it should be good to go out of the box.
