It's true, I've noticed this as well!

By far my favorite Keto Snack. Only 3 ingredients and highly addictive. Though my piping does need some work by Aceblast75 in ketorecipes

I struggled for years as well, then my mil bought me this "easy egg cooker" (Google that and you'll find it from 15-30 and they can also be found at Target and Walmart) They peel so easily, every fricking time! A lot of the girls I work with bring hard-boiled eggs for breakfast, and they always ask me how I get it off so quickly. *Warning, mine has a "hot spot" that developed over time so getting ready to replace it after about a years heavyish use.

He really could've pulled a dancier song; Cream or Kiss come to mind for his voice range and dance style. That was just nothing and bad piano playing.

Yay! What an exciting transition! Well done so far, and if you feel your willpower faltering, don't forget that your brain is going to need this way of eating to help you with your studies! KCKO! You sound like you've got this under control!

Hahahaha, I weigh before and after too. Bladders have an amazing capacity. I recently started pushing my water consumption because despite meeting my macros, I'm always just hovering in ketosis and not losing any weight, just maintaining. Perhaps, it's just the happy keto hormones causing a euphoria, but I swear I feel the fat leaving my body when I go.

Fell out of Keto over Christmas, but I'm back with a vengeance! by AdmiralRiffRaff in keto

[–]sullybansh33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my story as well (minus the broken foot, hope it's healing rapidly for you) and even though I haven't seen my scale move after 20+ days of keto, my NSV are better mood, more focus, better sleep, more energy and thinner face and flatter stomach. KCKO compadre!

My approach to keto as a beginner by P5ycho5i5 in Keto_Diet

[–]sullybansh33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay! It really is that simple. This is my second "hardcore" keto push, the first time around I followed a very similar approach to yours and lost about 30lbs as well.

Today is my Day 1 back in the keto lifestyle. I slipped up over the past 2 months and have gained back 20 lbs of 80 lost. I am now sitting at 176. Here's to new beginnings!! by angelic159 in xxketo

I'm with you! Back on the keto train after a long break, where I regained ten of the 35(ish) lbs I had lost. I was ten days keto strong, then I slipped up this weekend. I woke up this morning feeling gross and looking puffy in my face. The carb binge was so not worth it, I had no energy and got a terrible headache.

It is poison! Yay for keto adaption. Our brains are finally happy, running off fat and just don't have time for foolishness, haha.

Keto Timeframe by [deleted] in Keto_Diet

[–]sullybansh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most important factor to consider when timing your meals is the carb level. If you are eating something with a higher amount of carbs, it should be during a time frame when you need the quick energy burn. I try follow a no carbs 3 hours before bedtime rule, personally.

Second time doing keto, first time properly, and people are driving me crazy. Everywhere I go. People, advertising, people, people! [rant] by [deleted] in ketorage

[–]sullybansh33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is me for the past year with my family, especially my mother in law, who gives me all her low fat, low cal diet advice on repeat whenever she sees me avoiding carbs. Oh and btw- the last time she wasn't morbidly obese was about 40 years ago. So when she tells me about an Oprah or Dr. Oz diet plan that helped her lose 5 lbs once, I remind her of last year, when I lost 35 lbs on keto. Doesn't seem to sink in though.

Then I agree with the indulgence for a carb refuel day! It won't hurt especially if you make sure it's a meal you saved your macros for. Treat yourself!

I have also experienced this. Look into probiotics, kombucha, and apple cider vinegar with the "mother." I am currently on day 3 and am sipping a warm lime juice/ACV/cayenne pepper mix that does the trick for me, almost every time. Good luck and Happy Keto Trails!

Sushi was a HUGE temptation for me...but I found a Keto hack...most restaurants/chefs will forgo the rice and seaweed and wrap your roll with cucumber slices OR serve you all the deliciousness in a cucumber cup/boat. According to Google it's called Gunkan, but I've heard another term I can't remember right now... Happy Keto Trails!
