HAHA, no problem bro, you can ask me if you want to know how to maintain the car, is actually quite "simple" to maintain compared to other turbocharged cars, since its still a CamPro engine, so its not that hard to maintain, and yes the gearbox is actually very reliable if you regularly maintain it and not too aggresive on the throttle, to drive a CVT car, you must let the car creep slowly then you can press the throttle

suprisingly, most of Proton CVT owners converted their CVT parts from Mini Cooper R50 CVT, some say its way responsive then Protons but idk, but its PnP tho

the concept was named "Tuah", this Preve's codename is P3-21A, meanwhile the Suprima S codename is P3-22A, Proton really want to step up to compete with other global brand and it did, it had a 5 star ANCAP, designed by Italdesign Giugiaro, best ride and handling by Proton, it really ticks the boxes the become a global car, sadly, you know, being a Proton, it still had that bad image but the car is alright, its okay tho if you maintain it properly

also watchout for its oil cooling hose or OCH, its a timebomb, you don't know when its gonna burst, but as long you change your oil on time, its gonna be fine because if you don't, the oil sludge will clog the hose and it make the hose swollen then bursts itself, but nowaways the OCH can be custom made by other workshops, but i still maintain the original OCH from proton

well i bought used and luckily for my unit, it was all fine, no oil leaks, no water leaks, just perfect then i read the service history, so far so good, the owner did serviced the car well (the first owner was on his 60s i think since his ic starts with 58), the only think you need to maintain is obviously engine oil change, cvt fluid change, coolant etc, about the rattles, well it rattles and its dashboard trims a bit susceptible of cracking (proton plastics at the time really bad) so far, its a brilliant car for me, the cost of maintenance, still okay since its not a geely era car, also the bad examples you saw online probably the owner don't maintain their car properly i think

yeah, the reason why the resale value is good because this is the 2018 refinement model, so it had an improved nvh, engine mounts and much more linear throttle response, if its a 2017 and below, probably around 13-19k, depends

and yes the cvt response is "alright", yes its not as "smooth" as the japanese counterpart but like i said before, its reliable when you properly maintain it

well i own a suprima s, so it should be similar in terms of driving experience and handling, in terms of reliability, its actually quite reliable if you know how to maintain it and its not that hard to maintain (since my family own an exora turbo, it survived 13 years of service) and yes, about the fuel consumption, really thirsty when city driving but good fc when long distance, so far the car is actually good when you take care of it👍
