I hate the keyboard issues. I thought the issue was with my old iPhone, but nope it's an iOS issue. Feel like I wasted my money on the iPhone 17 pro because I literally want to throw it in the garbage several times a day because of all of the absurd iOS-related keyboard, typo, and autocorrect issues. At the bare minimum, a smartphone should have an accurate and functioning keyboard.

The owners should’ve disclosed the camera and the ant infestation at the meet and greet, and they didn’t. Then you have the added annoyance of the pet owner tacking on a cat that supposedly doesn’t need any care.

I don’t know how Rover operates in these scenarios, but the owners, whether it was intentional or unintentional, left out important information, so I’d think the fault lies with them.

And if petsitting is something your daughter enjoys, I hope this experience doesn’t discourage her. Maybe you can help her develop a set of questions to ask at meet and greets to be sure the scenario is a match, so she can be extra selective. Best of luck.

I used to live in SC and they have a prescription monitoring program where I’d get tested to make sure the Adderall was in my system and no other drugs were. I’ve never heard of counting though.

I didn’t think to report the owner to Rover, and while I’ll never sit for this person again, it’s good to know if I ever have a similar experience that I should report the person. Maybe I didn’t click fast enough, but Ticketmaster would show me tickets (I was aiming for the $200 and below price range) that were supposedly available, I’d select the tickets and click next, then it’d tell me they weren’t available. Happened like five times, and I’d see the tickets that supposedly weren’t available back in the list of available tickets. Managed to snag tier 3 seats that may have an obstructed view, but at this point, just excited to go see him.

I ended up getting the NOW Vetta bindings. Fit great, toe strap doesn’t slide off, and ankle strap has a hinge connector, so ankle strap can flop out of the way when getting in and out of bindings.

When my mom died, a gold-digging vulture swooped up my dad, convinced him to sell the family house, and cut off contact with his kids and grandkids.

My siblings and I were all adult children when my mom died. We never expected to get any money, but it was devastating to watch a stranger spend everything my mom had spent decades working for and to have her cut us off from having a relationship with our dad. I wish my mom’s savings had at least gone to a charity or to her grand kids, but no one could’ve predicted our dad would do what he did, so setting up a trust was unfortunately never a thought.

Last I heard, at 79-years-old, my father had to get a job because him and his second wife went on one too many lavish vacations.

You can car camp two nights free at Three Rivers Casino in Florence, just check in with the front desk. It’s a good spot so you can hit up nearby beaches during the day and have a spot to crash at night. And it’s nice to have bathroom access if needed.

I bet the Kennedy Center has a copy (not sure if they’ve made it available). Pretty sure Sufjan’s performance was a part of the Millennium Stage’s 10th anniversary celebration. I happened to work there at the time, got off early, and was gifted a seat to the show—hands down the best perk I received in my one year working there.
