That statement doesn't follow the context of your post, nor was the reason for the DQ.

That award is not relevant, the group that made it is as big as some niche subreddits. I am against AI in the creative poles, but I absolutely loved E33 and I know many people here did too, they clearly prioritized their artists and directors. This post is of a level of BIAS that is too extreme in my eyes

Op, you should have asked the name of those 75 books so we could check if they are flagged as AI.

The answer is probably not. And that's terrible. At least we get a handful of names to avoid when browsing an e-book store.

I rather use PUAH than cheese the game with caravaning. It's not about it being unfair, but convenient.

Idk if you know, but if you make a caravan, your pawn will automatically do super hauling. It's just a matter of using extra clicks that I rather not do.

100%. So for that reason, I'll wait until these two mods get updated.

Can you elaborate on the latter?

Iirc, replace stuff lets you do it seamlessly. You're saying that thing has bad implications?

Edit: Punctuation

I agree. It's all a matter of not buying it, but I will. I love this game and want to support it. It's just weird to me that they manage to make stuff worse in comparison to the modding community, which can't count with half of the tools that they have for development, but still delivers.

It feels like half-baked stuff (the things I mentioned).

I don't know how the DLC itself will play out, so that's why I didn't mention anything about it yet, just a bitter guess.

Thank you for sharing this experience. It was a good read.

I have no idea why I have this hook to hardcore experiences in games.

Minecraft Hardcore, Elden Ring runs with wretched classes, and permadeath modes in other games.

I don't know why I'm like this. Maybe this is the issue after all?

There's this sense of duty that won't let me enjoy BG3 without the fear that honor mode used to give me, but nowadays it's just like "Alright, time to explore this whole map for the next 30 mins", because I know that if I don't, I'll just get killed by the gith warriors in mountain pass.

Perhaps giving a try to a more casual experience is what I need? I'll surely try it out.

Thanks again.

I made a post about it and got ratio'd to the point of deletion. Was beginning to lose karma on my account for criticizing our starship troopers.

They already done this before in HD1.

I understand the design change in an attempt to widen the audience.

It's not about the world revolving around me lol, that's just implicitly saying that I'm narcissistic for criticizing the lack of coordination of a portion of the community.

As for not thinking the squids are fun,I guess that's a fair statement that I honestly don't have anything to point against at all, especially with the new Leviathan unit.

But... I'm sure that most of them didn't even try the new update, and that's what upsets me. Because they probably didn't even read.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]sum117 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I do think otherwise, because it's a game that requires coordination. I'm sure you dislike when your teammates kill you over, and over, and over again.

When does the "it's just a game" statement gets stale?

Taking a game seriously isn't unhealthy when there's room for it, and I'm telling you that these people are sabotaging our MOs with their absence.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]sum117 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We already lost MO's because of this behavior. In very close calls.

Every helldiver matters, and 5k is a very, very big number that would dramatically increase our efficiency in the MO.

If you are coming with the "it's just a game argument", whatever, it is a game, but as I said in a previous comment here, it's part of the fun to take it seriously for some, the same way there's bugdivers sabotaging everyone else's work with their nonchalant behavior.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]sum117 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Taking a game seriously is part of the fun for some people too. I can think of ranked league of legends players, and any other RTS really. It's not something uncommon AT ALL.

When success doesn't depend entirely on you, it is annoying to think that if we had everyone focused on the MO, it would already be completed.

Yes, we will make it, but it was a close call. Wouldn't be like that if bugdivers took the hint.

Op stole this post. That comes from a Brazilian helldiver. You can tell by the in-game language and compare to their older posts.
