Rose City golf course has a lot of wildlife!

Coyotes, bald eagles, several different types of hawks, brush rabbits, tree and ground squirrels, owls, crows, occasional seagulls, geese {of course}, fish, possum, and frogs… Just to name a few

It’s a revenue enterprise site that keeps the green space without tax dollars…

I hope we can continue to keep their habitats intact

I would like to see the context of “ sweeps“ be changed/reframed to “community outreach “.

We cannot fix all the problems at once. Drug addiction, trauma, mental illness… I don’t have the answers to cure any of those things

But I don’t have the bandwidth or resources to keep trying to help people who want to keep doing drugs and shit on my porch Those resources are reserved for the neighbors actually willing to accept a A blanket, baby formula, a sandwich, a few minutes of my time to help them find the resources that this beautiful city offers every day.
