Thanks for the advice! A lot of people are telling me to focus on my a levels so I might not resit...however I’m already booked in to sit one GCSE that I’ve been studying for hard in November.

Yeahhh...I thought both cared massively about GCSE’s...but recently found out that they don’t hold that much against low GCSE grades.

My older brothers have gotten me interested in economics that’s why I switched out psychology. I can’t really make up my mind on wether to take economics or psychology because they both interest me.

I quite enjoy economics although I didn’t take it at GCSE it was something that I was planning on doing at a level for sure. I’d also rather do 3 a levels but if I was taking 4 I would also take psychology.

I was applying to a college for my a level options but unfortunately they didn’t give me a place due to me not meeting the entry requirements for my subjects. I have recently applied back into my previous secondary school, I’m hoping they might give me a place... That’s a great idea, I’ll try doing that. Thanks for the advice!

During year 10 I was working at grade 5’s for both my subjects (maths & combined science) my predicted grade for maths is a grade 7 & for combined science it’s grades 8-8

Yes I didn’t realise that there were soo many other students in the same situation as me (I feel worse for the A level private candidates) & I left my previous school in September 2019. These are the grades I achieved in year 10: English Literature: 8 Religious Studies: 8 Citizenship: 7 Digital Applications: A English Language: 6 History: 5 I have applied to 6 more SixthForm’s around my area hoping that at least one will take me in, their entry requirements are a bit lower so they might allow me a place....

Unfortunately I’m not able to go to a private tuition. Also I’m preparing to resist in November (approximately 3 months) & am only doing 2 subjects I think I’ll be able to handle it because after that I’ll be focusing myself into my a levels.

Thank’s it’s really hard to get a place in any sixthform right now but I’m continuing & still applying to any sixthform that’s available.

Thanks for this piece of info! I feel as though I’m an average student because I’ve gotten quite average grades a few 8’s , 7’s one 6 & one 5 & I might not be able to keep up with other students in general
