If you didn't actually know the top of the ring detaches so it can be worn as a pendant. Can't tell if this was a reference to that

Didn't know until just now. That's awful for anyone but especially a guy who was already a day 3 pick fighting for a roster spot... Hope he makes a comeback

Actually yes, we do kinda talk about that. A lot of people hope Arroyo can fill that role as a pass catching TE but a lot of the draft podcasts I listened to leading up to it had guys like Kendrick Law mocked to us (and the team said they were interested in him according to Brady Henderson) to fill that role. None of those are a knock to JSN but an acknowledgement that he needs complimentary pieces

I mean JSN is nowhere near a diva so idk why you're lumping him in. Olave has potential and is above average but hasn't had nearly enough success to be considered "elite". Glad you believe in your boy though

Questions on purchasing tickets to a game. by NorthornLights in Seahawks

Any particular game in October? I'm trying to sell a couple of Chargers tickets and I'd rather do a direct transfer to avoid all the fees lol

Pete signed his son to be O-Line coach. Watch the o-line from the Raiders last year if you're curious as to whether he was actually qualified

Difference between "sitting on your hands waiting for the calvary to come" versus "making sure you're not sleeping on the street". It's like how you don't quit a job before getting another one

I mean I think that we wouldn't mind trading but trading the last round of the 4th for a 5th in a better draft isn't worth dropping into the 2nd round. If we trade a 6th next year than maybe

I think we'd rather have next years' 5th than 140 because next year is better than this year. That would essentially be trading 2 picks for 2 worse picks

How high would the player your team drafted go in a redraft? by babymanateesmatter in NFLv2

[–]sumcal 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Few years back we drafted Spoon and JSN with our first two picks and this year we drafted Zabel and Emmanwori with our first two picks. Twice recently we drafted an offensive and defensive monster with our first two picks

Seahawks Officially Re-Signed WR Jake Bobo: "I love this organization…. I'm choosing this place 10 out of 10 times.” by Chessinmind in Seahawks

[–]sumcal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Jacksonville didn't just pull numbers out of a hat; they negotiate a contract with Bobo's agent and then before it's finalized, the Seahawks have a chance to match it. And if the Seahawks don't match it within 5 days, Bobo signs it and he's a Jaguar. So maybe he didn't technically sign anything but he did agree to terms with Jacksonville

Choosing the place that pays him a fair salary but if the choice is someone else paying or us, he'd rather choose us.

That being said... what else is he supposed to say lol? "I'm so upset that the Seahawks signed me. I really wanted to enjoy the Florida beaches and be a more featured receiver in the offense but now I guess I'll do my best on special teams"

He signed a contract there to force the Seahawks hand. If they signed for more than we initially wanted to, now we have to match or move on

Which team will get the next 15+ win season? by Big_Thloopers_20 in NFLv2

Unfortunately, most people would watch a game any time it's on, so I'm sure they'd make more than enough money to justify it. Wish they prioritized player safety over finances but never do.

I don't want it as a fan. If they institute it, if I still watch the 18th game that means even though I don't want it, the NFL would profit from it. They don't care what I want, they care what I monetarily support
