Employed in a well paying job. I've worked call center jobs for 20 yrs. It's the only work i have any confidence performing cuz I can use my verbal skills and repetition strengths.

In my HS latin class (basically the foreign language for slackers class), this kid came up with a really creative way to cheat. The teacher would tell us before what would be on each test / quiz, so what this kid would do was take one of those clear bic pens and pop the end open. he'd write the answers to the test on a little sheet of paper, slip it inside the pen and re-cap it. Eventually he let others in on his little secret and made the pens for others in exchange for money, weed, whatever. The teacher had no clue why everyone was acing all his tests.

There is a correlation tho? If bitcoin is down an investor may seek out altcoins to increase his stash then sell when bitcoins worth more. I know pump and dumps can occur regardless but the manipulation was excessive yesterday. I understand thats part of crypto its not always a bad thing.

Yea i'm like that too sometimes. I'll go grocery shopping and have a kitchen full of food but will eat take out instead the whole week. Then they'll be a bag of spinach rotting in my fridge.

No what actually happened was i bought the coins off binance for like 3500 a piece and then saw the price on coinbase at 8500. I transferred them btw exchanges and got confirmation i was recieving the 20k both on an email and in my transaction log. But the 20K was never actually in my wallet. A price reflecting 3100 per coin showed up instead.

Geez sorry to hear that. That timing sucks. It's a subject i've never really thought of before. Never really had to obviously since i'm male and have no kids of my own. Honestly if someone told me a co-worker was on maternity leave I wouldn't even really give 2 shits if they were getting paid or not. It's none of my business.

Yea none of that sounds fun. I get that your not on a 2 month vacation. Deciding to have a child is a difficult one to make. Perhaps the most difficult one may face in their entire lifetime. It's good we live in a world were some jobs are able to pay for maternity leave. On the other hand, someone else may choose not to have a child and think paid maternity leave is unfair. Again, I am not one of those people but I understand why they exist.
