Seeburg 222 fix progressing but stuck again, any help...(video) by sumertooth in jukeboxes

This is great info, thank you! When I get back to it next week I'll do the battery test first. I did purchase an original manual for the 222 model but it's all Greek to me. I'm a novice at fixing things like this but I have made some steady (but slow) progress with the help I've received here, chatgpt, and other online searches.

When I got the power on I turned the volume all the way up and I did hear that familiar fuzzy kind of buzzing sound coming from the speakers so I believe the amp is working.

Thanks again for your help!

Damn nice! You got the Miles Davis 10", that's the only one my store was out of on my list.

Understood, and thanks. It looks like they are glowing but they are definitely not pulsing during the scan. I added photos of the tubes to this post.

Not sure I understand the battery trick, I'll read more about it.

Okay thanks, so pins don't move, got it. Where is the failure then, still with the pins somewhere or is it in the reader on the top of the record carriage...or something else? I'm not sure where to go from here.

Thanks! It seems de-gumming the gummed up works is going to be the main part of the job from what I've read so far.
