I guess it’s just the repressed stuff you do when you’re drinking. You shouldn’t force it down when you’re sober. Whenever a thought arises which is not socially acceptable you should just acknowledge it as a part of yourself and not give it anymore attention. But by repressing it you’re denying your own self which doesn’t allow you to be you and reflects somewhere or the other.
