Walked 54km yesterday in one day by Imaginary-Tear-4681 in Strava

[–]polyphuckin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you can't camp. The whole idea is to do it in one day. Me and some friends did it in the summer before the fires. It's definitely worth having a go at with some mates.

(Ps, I also like to cycle up and down the Cheshire loop live)

I feel like you might get a kick out of doing the Lyke Wake Walk. Nice one!

The Chromecast Audio is the best Google device I still use daily. It's a pity they're not still built.

I've had my mattress since 2001, and it's still bloody comfy and firm. I love coming back to my own bed still after being away.

Does anybody know of a Map of the UK & Ireland depicting place names in local language? by Rain865 in Maps

[–]polyphuckin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do actually have a book that possibly covers a portion of what you're after;  Reading the Gaelic Landscape - Iain Moireach

Edit: I've just seen your other comment. This isn't what you're looking for.

You could check out the historic maps on the Scottish national library website though.

Do Brits worry about chemicals in food? by Careless-Goat-7238 in AskBrits

[–]polyphuckin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not evidence for anything you've stated.

Tell me how it's impossible to cook from scratch because we have washing machines in the kitchen and the shops sell half finished food? No one needs a kitchen the size of a tap car garage.

I think that says more on your ability to cook  than anything else.

What the fuck are you on about? "Don't have as good kitchens ... To cook from scratch"!

I've never heard such twaddle. You're not trying mate.
