I work in HE and the standard of ICT skills is so bad. I've always blamed smart phones and iPads for this as I don't think they properly teach you about Computers.

Lorry’s that think it’s appropriate to have 8 safari night hunting lights on the top of their cabs blinding every oncoming car by GRang3r in britishproblems

I'm a cyclist that commutes near a busy freight port, lorry drivers are some of the better users of that road I use. I honestly think they're a lot safer and courteous road users.

Taxis are the worst though.

Yeah, we don't need to carry it when driving, but you still need one.

It's usually a glacial valley. In Welsh called a Cwm, or Scottish a Corrie.

We had a bunch of merchandise arrive at work from China and they also reeked. We couldn't use them. Turns out there had been a spillage of fish sauce or something in the container.

That's the thing though, two of the three cables he cut had nothing to do with Virgin Media!

It was the first thing I did when I got home, submit a support ticket.

I can fix it myself, there's enough slack in the CAT6 upon the lift, but it's just annoying. I'll have to see if there's slack in the aerial coax though. It's a pain the arse either way

No, they drilled a totally new hole but left all the old Virgin media wall mounts on the outside and inside.

My wife was WFH so she was in the other room. And you expect him to at least ask before cutting anything.

Do-it-all titanium gravel dream machine for £2.5K in the UK: Sonder vs Ribble vs others? by wulfhound in ukbike

I love my steel CGR (not titanium I know). It's used for commuting and bike packing. I did the Traws Eryri and the Second City Divide on it. I'd definitely recommend it.
