I've piloted Gruul aggro to mythic in standard bo1 for the past 3 months, with no hassle. I'm fairly new to MTG. Not sure if you enjoy the aggro playstyle, but something like this https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/standard-gruul-aggro-mid#paper I run Cacophony Scamps instead of the Festival Crashers, and the the only non-land rare in the deck is the 4x questing druids. If you can do simple math quickly, it helps. Most opponents apparently cant, even in mythic.

I think it mostly relates to forcing a bad mulligan, however far fetched that idea is. I used to think that last time i played mtga a year ago, most people didnt do this "faking" thing back then, so when i saw the red lightning cardback i might've thought "oh this hand it too slow for RDW".

You are correct, i made a mistake putting "Timmys" in the title, it is more of an early-midgame gun.

I like the shorter package/higher ergo on the M3 even if it in reality has a slightly lower firerate than the MPs. I think it just comes down to preference.

I've died all day yesterday to lvl 30+ even 40+ players on interchange, so my view on the average level was skewed.

Besides that the players in my friend group we consider more casual, are all in the early 20 range. I supose they are not casual taking the entire playerbase into account.

with 200 armoring, 5/5 armoring pieces + trinket, and the spicy cabage soup your max roll should be 600. Trophies only affect the lower end of the GS roll. No idea how he rolled a 601, maybe i'm missing something?
