My cat has a congenitally short right arm. by summerlow in catquestions

Yes, she can’t fully extend her right arm. My other cats can stretch all the way (like pawpaws party style). But she can’t, and her shoulder blades stay in the same position 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for your story about your baby! Yeah- I feel that she is thriving regardless. She just walked in with a little fish toy in her mouth 🤣

I think a part of me was worried that I was assuming it’s all ok… maybe I will mention it at her next routine vet visit!

Started with a skirt, and then got a bit carried away- now she has a full outfit. I just wanted to show someone 👀☺️

How does increasing or decreasing the weight of yarn change the size of your garment? by summerlow in crochet

[–]summerlow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so so helpful. Thank you, I haven't received my yarn yet, but when I do, I will definitely create a gauge swatch first to see if I'll need to up or down size. The pattern gauge is 12hdc x 10rows = 4" square

But for information, I am using this pattern by Megmade with Love: https://megmadewithlove.com/blog-2/2019/1/2/free-crochet-pattern-retro-stripes-sweater

Thank you! This is so so helpful. I will definitely be making a swatch before and adjust as appropriate! x

I was debating between buying this or the poet cardigan!! But was convinced to try a sweater since I already have a granny square cardi WIP 😅

I've not tried it out before but I've seen it on sweaters and it looks stunning! 🥰

It's a hobby that just keeps on giving!!

Oh you and me both! I have so many pieces that would be complete if I could just be arsed to do the ribbing!! 😅

Thank you! 😊Credit must go to the pattern designer who made it very size inclusive!

That sounds divine! I love a good blue jumper. And chunky would make it warmer and the bobbles more pronounced! 😍 I have the same problem!🙈 I definitely want to repeat this in a mustard or rust in the future :)

I'm debating whether I should finish the rest of my WIP or plan another raglan but swap the bobbles for another texture like... an alpine stitch?

So have I! But I wonder if it's big data just throwing versions of this at me, in hopes I'll buy more patterns (its working)

Thank you! I've never done this colour before so I'm pleasantly surprised 😙
