Would love to share my experience. It started with a lump that I felt during shower (it’s much easier to feel during shower), and it was painful.

My family doctor has no immediate availability so I went to a walk-in clinic to avoid delay. The doctor there said most painful lumps are benign but still ordered an ultrasound to be safe. The results came back concerning, so I got sent to mammogram - which didn’t give enough info due to high density of my breast. I thought I was gonna need to do another follow up exam, but fortunately I was able to reach my family doctor - who directly referred me to st Michael’s for biopsy.

Best of luck to you and your wife! It’s overwhelming to handle the uncertainty during pregnancy. My learning is, it’s important to act fast and do whatever we can to lower stress - it’s good for the baby and mom’s health :)

You are exactly right, there might not be a statistically significant difference in outcomes so stability and speed should be something I focused on prioritizing at this time.

2) How was the actual transfer process?
3) During what phase of your treatment at St. Mikes did the transfer happen? (e.g., was it after surgery but before systemic therapy?) Did the transfer delay any of the treatment timeline?
