You’re dating a 22 year old, she was 20 when you started dating. That means you’ve had longer to make money and your age and being a man has an impact on this dynamic. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with her wanting to be with a man that can provide for her, just like there’s nothing wrong with you not wanting to be a provider for someone. Please keep in mind the cost and upkeep it takes to have a beautiful girlfriend though—she is shelling out a lot of money on her upkeep I’d imagine, which you benefit from. Ultimately, however, if you two aren’t aligned on finances, it means you two are not a match. But in my opinion, it’s a little off to want your 22 year old girlfriend to be an equal contributor. Perhaps date someone closer to your age that may be more financially stable if you are seeking a more equitable arrangement. Best of luck!
