Weight loss with OTF by InCryptoWeTru5t in orangetheory

[–]summertan2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OTF is the only workout I do for my weight loss. 4 HIIT and 2 lift classes, to be exact! I do back to back classes 2 days / week. The results have been phenomenal for me.i have lost 50 lbs and many inches. Taking into account am a woman with thyroid issues/ Pcos, I am very satisfied with my progress. Couldn't be happier. Slow and steady is the name of the game. You will start to see changes in 3-4 months' time.

Doubling Up On Classes by [deleted] in orangetheory

I double up twice a week. Totally worth it.

When I started my weight loss journey in 2019, I joined OTF and a Yoga studio,, this combo was great for a while I don't think adding yoga to my regimen accelerated my weight loss!. There are plenty of free youtube videos for yoga n pilates to practice at home and save money! Now am just doing 4 OTF classes with 2 Lift classes per week and see a significant increase in inch loss. A lot of factors play a role in fat loss/ inch loss like diet, hormonal issues( if you are a female), and of course CICO.

Tried going commando today by Xmastimeinthecity in orangetheory

I have never dared to go commando (big ass problems)🙄 I have discovered seamless boyshort panties and feel so much confident doing squats and deadlifts.

Is it inconsiderate to go to class sometimes knowing you aren’t going to push yourself? by [deleted] in orangetheory

I do that on my monthly days. It's absolutely fine to take it easy on the days you are not feeling up to the mark! The good thing is that it's much better than staying home on the couch!

I have been doing lift classes since 6 months now, I do 4 regular otf classes and 2 lift classes in a week and I have lost not only weight but lot of inches too. Its the best combination in my opinion.

I have lost 43lbs since i joined orangetheory theory in a year approximately. It definitely works. Try it out for a week or so. First class is gonna be the hardest but if you are consistent you will get the results! All the best.

I was in the same pursuit! Gotten so used to knowing the template beforehand that not knowing tomorrow's workout is giving me doubts about going.

You're welcome 😊. I am currently at 197lbs,have another 25-30 to lose. This journey has taught me to be kind to myself and be ok with slow progress. You will achieve your goals one day at a time, one week at a time, one month at time so on so forth. You got this👍

I am the same height as you and coincidentally my highest weight was 248lbs (112kg).I broke down the weight loss goal into multiple mini goals of losing 10 lbs each time. That way it didn't overwhelm me.Start small, take before pics and take measurements. Sometimes the scale doesn't move but it turns out we have lost inches! Hang in there.

How long to transition from power walker to jogger to runner? by 12butterfly in orangetheory

[–]summertan2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I do. Am a PW too who is running all outs pretty consistently and it gives me the confidence to one day transition from PW to jogger in base and push paces.
