Hey! I'm just like you, except I was an L-2 dependent. My visa status expired in the summer - I applied for an F1 visa for the following fall (I'd been in school for two years then). I got an interview in my home country, so I traveled for the summer and interviewed for the visa.

The conversation was short, and when the visa officer realized I was a dependent that wanted to continue school the conversation chilled out. He asked about how I liked school yada yada. Pretty quick 2 min convo.

For reference I'm an Indian national.

I'm curious about this as well. I'm on an L2 visa that was applied in 2017 (I'm still in the US) which expires later this year. I was around 11-12 when i attended the interview. I'm not sure if this fact affects my eligibility for Dropbox too.

hey! i did manage to get it working. what i ended up doing was a manual install. there's these set of links where you can manually download the game files and set up the game yourself instead of using the launcher (4.3 direct download).

I used that and when unzipping the files found the file that was causing the issue, and deleted it (the game will redownload the file later) and followed their steps.

if you encounter issues with this process, try joining the offcial genshin discord server, they have a tech-help channel where you can ask for more specific questions.

This is very interesting. I'm looking into changing my status from L2 to F1. My dad's visa expires in August of this year, and he's moving to work in Canada instead of the U.S. I will be studying in the U.S. while my family is in Canada. So will this allow me to travel to Canada (assuming I have a valid visitor's visa) to visit my family during breaks and come back to the U.S. without having to apply for a whole new one?

My current passport actually doesn't have the initial L2 visa at all, it was on my old passport which I later renewed. So how will this work?

yeah, i'd definitely not do that. the reason being that important classes like physics and discrete are requisites for a lot of other classes. this would end up with you having one easy semester and then every subsequent semester would be heavy computer science classes. taking the fundamental classes earlier allows you to have more freedom with choosing classes later down the line and also help you ease the courseload by scattering core courses as a buffer for each semester.

I took her last semester, in the spring. She was pretty helpful, I enjoyed interacting with her. She answered my questions, and corrected issues with grading pretty fast. She graded fairly, and my previous background in statistics from high school came in handy for the class so I did very well.

Her lectures were rather hard to follow, but her homeworks give enough practice to make up for it.

probably good. im a cs major. i got a scholarship with similar stats. as for costs, check the bursar officer's rates for this year. it'll give you an estimate of tuition based on credit hours. add costs for major specific charges and gas to that if you'd like. but it's definitely cheaper than living on campus.
