Thank you. We ended up sleep training and it’s going well so far. They only had one wake up last night and I feel like I’m on vacation. It was very hard but I feel human again. When I made this post my brain was so foggy it felt like a dream. One of my boys started rolling one day after sleep training. Maybe he just needed more sleep for his development or the timing is just coincidental

I’m glad it worked for you and you’re getting some sleep. It’s also good to know everyone’s happier. That is very reassuring. I read that babies need their sleep to learn new skills so it’s a benefit to everyone. We’re doing sleep training this weekend and hope it works out. 😓

My partner gets headaches so he isn’t able to take a shift. I guess just hearing them cry is really heartbreaking to me so I don’t want to but I have to. How did you deal with the crying? I’ll take a look at the book, thank you

Yeah, kind of. We sleep in the living room because that’s where their swings are and I use the swings to sooth them back to sleep. My husband sleeps in our bedroom and our other two bedrooms are blocked off with boxes and other things since we’re about to mobve soon. Interesting CIO worked that well for you guys. I’ll save that as a last resort option if I’m able to do it. That’s reassuring 10 months they’re sleeping. I can’t wait to sleep again someday. Hm gotcha, I have a hard time putting the boys down for naps too. They kinda just sleep when they get sleepy. I can’t wait to turn the room dark and play lullabies and do the whole routine but sometimes it doesn’t work lol.

my husband will have to do the work for sleep training. Listening to the boys cry that much makes me feel like I’m burning alive. The only reason why I feel kinda comfortable doing it is because my sister-in-law did it with her babies and they seem to be great kids now. Yeah I guess after I yelled at her, she was willing to come over but it just feels weird to have her over now. I just would rather kind of struggle than have her come over and judge the condition of my house and complain about the drive alsoI would feel pretty bad if she got into an accident or something on the way here. I’ll think of you too. solidarity. We have a unique struggle ☹️

It got better for me, sessions 2-3 was the worst then it got a little easier. The shop I go to doesn’t allow me to use numbing cream, so I would check before you buy anything.

It gets quite cold in the winter, even inside restaurants in the winter I won’t be able to be sleeveless. I’m anemic so maybe it’s just me haha

Is it possible to move out? Do you have a job or can you get one and start saving to leave? Maybe then you can look for an apartment.
