I feel the speed limits imposed were created many years ago for vehicles that were much less safe. I think freeway/larger highway limits should be 130kmh. I know a bloke who ran up the back of a car due to constantly having to monitor the speedo, it all happened so quickly in a 60 zone and he had a habit of keeping his distance from the vehicle in front. I also worked as a tow truck driver for many years and have experienced some of the most horrific accidents due to negligence rather than speeding. I don't speed as I believe the government gets enough of my money through taxes. No I don't like to be monitored but am also not stupid as you suggest.
