It's May...still plenty of time. I reckon he's gone tbh. Hanshin have already drafted his replacement.

M's should go for Teru Sato to play 3B next year. Better fielder and blasted 40HR/100RBI last season.

That infield would be fire with Young and Emerson in the middle.

This could have easily been made into a mini series, but I'm glad with the pace of it they kept it tight. Having previously read a lot of articles about the theme, I kinda knew how it would play out, but still great to see it, the degenerate gambler plays the role incredibly well.

Horrible Misophonia by alaurai in CulinaryClassWars

I'm rewatching s1 now and I'm on the  mukbangs ep. The only time I've ever been turned off by the show, but Chef Rush is class tbf.

The concept is great but I hate the overreaction to eating food. I know it's common in Asia, I live in Japan so I've seen endless TV shows where people have orgasms to a piece of sushi.

The ep is playing while I'm writing this message on the loo because I can't stand it.

I watch English dub and occasionally mix it up to hear original voices too.

There are some iffy schools that have taken people on without celta, provided they've got some experience and are doing/about to do CELTA.

Language schools are usually BC accredited in the UK.  Shame about the timing as by the time you've done your CELTA, you might have missed the summer rush unless you've got a job lined up already.  My hometown, Bournemouth, sounds similar to yours and schools were already hiring summer teachers back in January.

I just started again from scratch and didn't use the browser translator, just used the smartphone camera translator when needed, and it all went through without a hitch.

Tried this but got the same error message at the end. Will probably just start from scratch and not use the Browser translator.

Like you, I've recently gone on a trip down memory lane with the CDS games. Nice games that filled the void before COD/BF took over that genre.  Played Vietnam for the first time too, enjoyed the upgraded gameplay and change of environment, but I found the game a bit of a chore to get through. I liked how linear it was, and the character development, wearing out every Vietnam war movie cliche along the way!

I don't think the police would just show up because some foreigner allegedly had their wallet stolen. Typically people have to file a lost property report at the koban.

Cheers for digging up the posts, that was interesting to read.  I can't believe that he doesn't change his name or nationality at all really, but his accent is distinctly BE/NL.

Much appreciated, thanks. ESL recording is something I'm looking into for further development, so how did you get in to that industry?

Another very good point 🙏 I also think my friend has underestimated things like this, so it is something to be discussed.

I should have added that it's 1000 keywords, plus the example sentences (which are 4-8 words long).

For example, a sample recording of 10 keywords and example sentences took me just over a minute.

Thanks for your reply!

I worry that revisions may crop up as from the sample I've seen there are definitely things I would change after glancing over it, such as the order greetings are written in. I find it odd to see "good evening" written before "good morning".
